Prior to His ministry, Christ was a carpenter by trade. So He could be both a carpenter, and then go into His ministry in which He taught (which is what a rabbi is). I don't understand what the controversy is here.

It's not a controversy, just something history buffs debate. The King James Bible, compiled in 1611, has a number of mistranslations and some of the stories differ from older Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek texts.

That would be great! P.O., is that post office? My husband worked there for over 30 years, retiring at the age of 56. He missed it for years after,
I can meet on MTF since I have dialysis the other days of the week. Let's try.

Freak show? In what way? My family has always spoken in tongues, especially my grandmothers. I do not consider them to be FREAKS.

The problem is that many Pentecostls cannot be even classified as Christians because of their views on the Trinity
What kind of view do they have? Not familiar w/all the branches of Christianity. What is the difference between Pentecostals and Charismatics? Never came across anything that describes all the differences - I wish there was such an outline. Thanks.
