ABC Scrambling to Put Some Meat on Ross' Story
The American Thinker ^ | 10/7/06 | Clarice Feldman

Posted on 10/07/2006 8:02:39 AM PDT by rmgatto

As time passes, it is increasingly clear that the ABC News report which started the Foley firestorm is odorous—and I’m not talking Chanel.

(1) It dealt with the emails which the FBI and many media organizations considered as innocuous as the Republican leadership did. Who circulated these reports is not yet clear.Foley’s spokesman said his opponent, Mahoney had been shopping the story to the media for some time....(much more)

The question is: Why do we allow them to force us into calling them gays? They are homosexuals.

As I think Father Neuhaus has pointed out, "homosexual" is a clinical term for their condition. "Gay" is essentially a political term. So, homosexual is what they are, but "gay" refers to their political agenda and beliefs.

So, Foley is a homosexual insofar as he prefers sex with males, but he is gay insofar as he follows the gay rights political movement. I didn't really know anything about Foley before this story broke, but I gather that he adheres to the gay political agenda on matters such as abortion, another reason why it's just as well he is no longer in congress.

My poor old immigrant grandmother had a Hunky folksaying perfectly applicable to this whole affair:

Maybe I will disagree with many posters....

I don't see how anybody can view this incident as a "set-up"... Foley was sexually harassing teenage male pages. That's a fact.

And anybody that sees an email from a 50yo gay man to a 16yo boy asking for his picture... they should be asking some serious questions.

Feldman's reasoning seems convoluted.

Most likely this is going to be dropped soon by the MSM because it's "too complicated."

I started to answer your question, and found things getting more and more complicated. The fact is, bottom line, the gay political position is unnatural and delusional. It requires you to draw all sorts of lines between what's politically correct and what isn't, and in a case like this they endanger themselves by revealing the contradictions inherent in their beliefs.

The same thing threatened to happen with the left wing media attack on pedophile priests. They tried to draw a sharp line between pedophile priests (horrible) and gays (wonderful), but the lines in fact blur. The great majority of the priests in question were not, in fact, pederasts but ephebophiles, or lovers of young men. They were, in fact, almost all homosexuals.

So, what started out as an anti-Catholic campaign turned into a campaign to weed homosexuals out of the priesthood. Naturally they didn't intend anything like that.

Actually, the original memos were typed up on an IBM Selectric typewriter (except it had autojustification and kerning capabilities) at Bush's old Air National Guard HQ in Texas sometime in the early '70's.

Seriously, would we lie to you about something like this. (/megasarcasm)

A Conservative Family Values Congressman from a very Conservative district is outed as being gay in a contrived but explosive manufactured scandal should stand and fight for his seat... in what reality?

The story may have reached a point where the facts no longer matter. The MSM has enough material that they can keep talking about the story, whether or not any new information comes out--it's like that teenager disappearing in Aruba or the JonBenet murder. They can just keep talking about it without anything new to say.

The point is to keep the story on TV, and to keep talking about how it is going to destroy the Republican Party's chances in the election, in hopes of creating a Democrat landslide in November. They are hoping that the so-called Christian right will be disgusted with the Republican Party and just not vote. Conservatives need to remain focussed on the negative consequences of having the 'Rats in control of either or both houses.

If Foley had been a Democrat, this would have been a two-minute story mentioned only on the day he resigned and quickly forgotten.

The Katsaros family is in the middle of this.

Entry by Robin indicates she was interviewing pages back in 2004. Updates the pages that she is looking for publishers....ensuring the project will definitely get published sometime.....(www.pagealumni)

Robin's son, Christopher Katsaras, Page Class of ? , now a third year student at Georgetown. Christopher's sponsor was Nancy Pelosi. Isn't this the glaring connection?

Does he spit or swallow?
Depends on his character, if I were guessing I would have to say he swallows. The only thing he is spitting presently is the made up stories hiding the fags.

His a** is soon to be another Dan Rather and, so is his network.

I agree that he should be out of Congress. My problem is with the homosexual courting liberal democrats who are trying to smear the entire Republican party with this Foley crap.

They remind me of a flock of vultures sneering at a whole flock of eagles, because, one of their ugly ass vulture eggs was somehow hatched in the eagle nest.

As I see it, the gay rights political movement, is in fact properly defined as, the homosexual agenda.

A lie is a lie is a lie, whatever name it goes by.

Well, that "street" opinion you cite hasn't been substantiated in any polling I've seen nor any other anecdotal evidence.

Simply saying something doesn't make it so. You need proof to back up those conclusions. And right now AP, PEW, even Carville's own polling unit can't give those concusions validity.

BTW, very nice summary by the author above. Bookmarking for reference.
