Reynolds is badly trailing Davis, poll shows
The Buffalo News ^ | 10/8/06 | Robert J. McCarthy

Democrat Jack Davis has opened a significant lead over Republican incumbent Thomas M. Reynolds in a congressional contest fueled by Reynolds' association with the Mark Foley sex scandal. Davis leads Reynolds 48 percent to 33 percent in a new Zogby International poll conducted for The Buffalo News, prompting pollster John Zogby to conclude that Davis poses a genuine threat to the longtime powerhouse from Clarence.

Polls are just a snap shot at a particular time. At this time, polls do not look good for Reynolds. He was scheduled to be on "This Week" this morning. Anybody catch his interview>

Reynolds is so irate he will now go after Rahm Emanuel. the sleazebag who leaked the Foley affair.

The GOP must get revenge against Emanuel, destroy his life.

Reynolds cancelled his appearance on This Week due to "flu-like symptoms" and arranged for Adam Putnam of Florida to show up instead.

Maybe someone can find e-mails proving he is secretly a Christian.

You know, we can win elections without resorting to anti-Semitism. We've done so before and we'll do so again.

FWIW another poll has Reynolds in a statistical dead heat. The poll was done by Survey USA, like Zogby a polling company that has animus towards conservatrices.

Great research, it does put things in perspective doesn't it? I think you need to make it as its own thread. This is very important for our freepers to see and know that the polls always favor democrats in each elections except of course when the real polls occur on elections day.

Reynolds is a first-class asshat. I repeatedly asked the NRCC to stop calling me, so then I started getting fundrasising solicitations (letters and phone calls, sometimes several in the same day) from Reynolds' campaign directly.

Last week, I got a notice that I received a certified letter from the IRS. Naturally, this caused me great concern. After waiting over an hour in line at the post office, I received a fund-raising solicitation from the NRCC designed as if it were coming from the IRS. Inside, it was something like "imagine the horrors the IRS will unleash on you and other small business owners if the Democrats control congress again..."

I sent the RNC $50 two years ago. They and other organizations have since spent much more than that trying to get me to give to them again.

That's how the NRCC, under Reynolds' watch, is spending their time and money.

Reynolds can rot in hell as far as I am concerned. His is the only GOP seat I hope we lose.

What a massive waste of time and money.

Not five minutes after getting back to my office from the post office, the NRCC was calling to see if I got their letter.

I told the lady what happened and how I did not appreciate wasting my time to pick up a fund-raising solicitation at the post office. She told me that "selfish people like you are the reason the Democrats are positioned to take back Congress."

Maybe conservative media should do its own slanted polls so everyone will see just how meaningless they are.

Funny how ever since the introduction of electronic voting machines the imbeciles that the democraps used to count on to steal elections for them have been thwarted.

Well, 2000 and 2002 show some good points, but in 2004, it was pretty close. It did not show the huge Dem lead it shows now.
