Not a threat, simply a fact. And what I want is for you and everyone else to never do it again. The practice is obnoxious but some still engage in it. Until they stop doing so, public and direct response is the only way to deal with it.

I wonder what a life or mindset that sees or has everything in black or white like yours appears to be would be like. Glad I have shades of grey and some colors.

Would your "perfect world" be as regimented and inflexible as you seem to suggest? Or should he who is without sin cast the first stone?

There is nothing utopian about just not sending spam. It is elementary politeness. You might as well call it utopian to ask people not to spit on each other in public. If people want your ping lists, you can say "hey dudes, I'm going to be doing this ping list for people interested in X, or in my take on X". And anybody interested can say "great, sign me up". Anybody not interested says nothing and you leave them alone. That is just how this stuff is supposed to work. When you instead blast pings out to a hundred people who've never spoken with you or requested anything, you are spitting on them. Don't. Simple.
