is quite doubtful that HBO’s Bill Maher knew what he was in for when he scheduled Danielle Pletka of the American Enterprise Institute to be on his "Real Time" panel Friday night. After all, with CNN’s Lou Dobbs and liberal actor Ben Affleck surrounding her, it seemed highly unlikely the lone conservative in the discussion would survive the scrum, let alone win the debate. However, not only did Pletka hold her own, but she also ended up schooling Maher and Affleck on a virtual plethora of geopolitical issues making this one of the more enjoyable Friday Night Fights in recent memory (video link to follow).

I watched the clip and saw what one USUALLY sees in these cases- a bunch of ignorant idiots who refuse to be confused by the facts when facing a person who actually KNOWS something about it.
Mahar and Affleck should go back to what they are paid to do- entertain, albeit in a mediocre fashion. Dobbs is just good at appeasing the nutjob who pays him.

No my question is how empty threats and idle warnings on the part of the President have accomplished anything?
More evil? Nope, just more dangerous. The President was right to identify the troublemakers publicly, and if Ben Assfleck thinks otherwise, then I KNOW that Bush made the correct decision in that regard. We're still working on the "will not tolerate" part, mainly because countries such as Russia and China continue to run interference for the Iranian and North Korean vermin. Our response need not be an "interdiction"; there are other viable responses.
You are up pretty earlier this morning Ben Affleck. If you are not Ben, you are his twin because you are as ignorant as he is and could not understand facts if someone smacked you in the face with them.
Had Bush taken on North Korea first, the same drooling leftist loons who are screaming today that he failed to protect us from the "real" threat (North Korea) by taking on Saddam Hussein and the terrorist coddling nations of the Middle East would be screaming that he attacked a tiny, starving defenseless nation--North Korea--while leaving the "real" Islamofascist threat to grow without opposition.
