Dems have done such a good job of filling African Americans with all these "consiracy stories" about how their vote isnt being counted because of the evil Republicans, that now they are worried that blacks may not show up and vote.
All the new election machines this year and the lack of election officials in the black neighborhood isnt likely to lessen their cynicism. Give us a little bad weather on Tuesday and many inner city folks will stay home. Hell their vote isnt going to be counted anyway...so says Jesse and Al.

Oh, they'll scream voter disenfranchisement anyway. The fact that they did it to themselves never seems to get much exposure. Take, for instance, the infamous butterfly ballot in Palm Beach County, Florida ... designed by a Democrat.

These DNC folks live in an alternate universe, don't they?

This notion that elections are stolen and that elections are rigged is so common in the public sphere that were having to go out of our way to counter them this year, said Donna Brazile, a Democratic strategist. lol...counter them? Brazile and her ilk created them!

So the conservative base may stay home because of the failures and corruption Republicans - and the Democrat base may stay home, also because of the corruption of the Republicans. Wow, the NYT has got every angle covered here, I think.
To: Dave S
Completely silly...
The reason these folks ain't showing up is because they are wise to the ways the DNC have used them over the years...

This is why "future Democratic presidential nominee Barrack Obama" has been trotted out so much.
Like Jesse Jackson and Doug Wilder have been falsely trotted out in the past.
Any and every lie to keep them happy on the Democrat plantation.

They ought to be fearing disillusionment. The Democrat party has offered NOTHING but pain, dependence, and whining for years. What is amazing to me is that black voters have stuck with them for so long. Talk about continually backing a losing horse.
To: Dave S
The disillusionment comes from the fact that African-Americans are the most loyal Dem constituency, yet the white hierarachy that runs the party generally shuts them out from running for statewide office. Maryland is a prime example.
The reality is that it is the Democrat party that is run like a plantation.

Correction:
This notion that elections are stolen and that elections are rigged is so common in the public sphere because we've repeated it so often that were having to go out of our way to counter them this year reverse the damage we caused, said Donna Brazile, a Democratic strategist.

Just who has worked very hard for 6 years to convince black voters that elections are rigged? Duh. See the irony here?
Be careful what you wish for, you just may get it.
