“CHOICE BLUES” Abortion Video [UNEDITED TRUTH – GRAPHIC]
The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform ^ | Gregg Cunningham

Posted on 10/31/2006 5:47:42 AM PST by cpforlife.org

Choice Blues is the update to Harder Truth. Chapter one shows abortions in progress (2 1/2 minutes). Chapter two contains footage of aborted embryonic and fetal tissue (5 minutes).

Warning: This video is extremely graphic because abortion is an act of violence, which kills a baby. Parental discretion advised.

My friend Richard Mahoney of the AMERICAN HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL just contacted me about this new video. He is a good friend of Gregg Cunningham, the head of The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform. As I understand the video was put up recently.

Quite honestly, this video is extremely difficult to watch. But it is necessary to watch, because no matter how well I thought I “understood” abortion, actually seeing an abortion gives a perspective that mere words could “never adequately describe”.

It is necessary to show the pure evil of abortion as much as possible. This video does just that.

Please, please forward this to everyone you know, on both sides of the battle, as it will have a major impact on the majority of those who see it. Our country is desperately in need of a major wake up call and I believe this can help if seen by large enough numbers. Don’t think about it, just do it.

The following are excerpts from the introduction to another Abortion Video, “Hard Truth” (Video Link) also by Gregg Cunningham, of The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform:

[TRANSCRIPT] Introduction to video “Hard Truth”:

"The video you are about to see, unmasks the terrible truth that abortion is an act of violence which kills a baby. And the violence is spreading. As happened to black civil right activists in the 1960s, peaceful pro-life demonstrators are now routinely being savaged by police attacks. If you think that's just inflammatory rhetoric, the next 6 minutes may change your mind.

Some of the children we'll show you represent typical nine and ten week abortions. Because abortions are never committed prior to the sixth week of pregnancy, every child abortion kills is already so fully formed that her heart's beating and her brain’s producing brain wave activity. Many of the babies you'll see however range in age through the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Most were taken from garbage bags, removed from a dumpster behind an abortion clinic in Houston, Texas. They've been included to emphasize the sickening fact that the vast majority of all abortions are committed simply as a means of birth control.

We also want you to understand that convenience abortion is legal throughout all nine months of pregnancy.

Some might ask why a video of this sort should even be necessary. The answer can be found in the gruesome films, used to teach about the Nazi Holocaust against the Jews. Teachers don't show bloody World War II footage to manipulate students emotionally. They use it because the Nazi death camps represented an evil so inexpressible that lectures alone could never adequately describe it. The abortion holocaust is no different. Everyone instinctively knows that abortion is evil, but many mistakenly believe it's often the lesser of two evils. Until you've seen the pictures we're about to show you, you can't begin to know how evil it actually is.

By making this video short and eliminating the narration, we've structured the presentation to allow you to avoid its contents by simply looking away. But we hope you'll watch, because ignorance sustained by denial is crippling this nation's response to abortion, and when something's so horrifying we can't stand to look at it, perhaps we shouldn't be tolerating it."

END TRANSCRIPT

Instead of the word "graphic", that is almost a pejorative, how about using "honest" or "truthful"?

"Evil flourishes when it is hidden; injustice festers when the victim is unseen.

Exposing evil causes it to collapse under its own weight, as it confronts the light of human conscience. Overcoming injustice does not require that everyone believe it is injustice. There is, rather, a critical mass at some point in the spectrum, when “enough” people are so convinced. The good news is that those people already have the conscience to reject the evil.

The problem is that the evil hasn’t been sufficiently exposed for them to see it. "

Serving the Gospel of life thus means that the family, particularly through its membership of family associations, works to ensure that the laws and institutions of the State in no way violate the right to life, from conception to natural death, but rather protect and promote it.

I'm trying to think of a context in which I can get my boys (14 and 17) to see this. I don't want to blast them with ugliness without context, but... they did see Mel Gibson's "Passion" and that was like this.

I'll talk to Mr. Don-o about it.

14 and 17, Freshman and Senior?

Having read your posts for some time I believe your boys had years of serious context prior to seeing Mel Gibson's "Passion", by way of Mass, regular Religious education, Stations of the Cross, and all the other Catechesis from you and Mr. Don-O.

As far as context prior to seeing this or any graphic video like this, that is very important. I would never show this type video to a youngster under say 18 without some serious preparatory info. I will point you to my tag line. The Curriculum was approved by the New Orleans DRE for all High Schools in the Archdiocese.

If you want them to have absolute, solid context prior to seeing this, do the Curriculum with them. And if you do, please let me know, I would very much like your perspective on it.

I finally watched these videos tonight. I wasn't able to watch when they were first posted, as I was at work. I am bawling now. I thought I was prepared, but I don't think you can ever be fully prepared to see this evil. How anyone can be involved in this and not see it as evil, I will never understand.

Dear Lord, we pray for all women considering abortion that they may choose to save life rather than end it. Lord we pray that you are with the voters in SD that they vote to end this horrible evil against your children. Amen.

The most moving story I ever heard about abortion was from the former abortion doctor who decided on a whim to watch "the action" on ultrasound. What he saw horrified him and forever changed his life. The baby was actively fighting what was happening to him. Let there be no doubt, abortion kills babies.

Does anyone remember an article someone posted here on FR several years ago pertaining to the "Seal Pup" slaughter? The poster encouraged all Freepers to copy the article, and send it to their local newspaper's "Letters To The Editor"? I REALLY need a copy of that for my son. He's doing a Pro-Life paper for school.

Thanks so much!!
