Just voted in central Anne Arundel County - red territory.

I was told that the morning rush was crushing, and it's been busy, with a short wait, all day so far. I only had to wait a minute or two, but actually, it is the first time I've ever had to wait to vote since moving to this precinct in 2001. It was busier today when I went than in 2004.

Very good turnout for a mid-term election, so far.

This would be HUGE.

The way it looks now--this will be the deciding state in who controls the Senate!!

IT'S UP TO YOU MARYLANDERS!!!

Notice how the demonrats promote Ford and ignore the historic campaign of Steele.

Early indications mean doo-doo. Remember what Parris Glendening was able to do at the 11th hour vs. Ellen Sauerbrey. Everyone in MD needs to get out and vote for Michael Steele.

Don't know about that. The Hedgehog Report reports fairly light turnout in the more Republican counties in the Baltimore area. That blog is by politically active Republicans (one of the nicest political blogs around. Many Ds read it and almost every commenter is civil and informative). Guess we will see soon.

I just got back from voting. No line whatsoever. The clerks said it had been light most of the day.

I'm in the heart of Montgomery County. VERY Democratic country. It's a hopeful sign.

Also, it's raining. That might keep the lazy home, who tend to be Democrats.

From Polipundit. I would also be willing to buy a round:

Pass the Kool Aid

Deep down inside they know it:

Now, Mr. Bennett said, failure to win the House, even by one seat, would send Democrats diving under their beds (not to mention what it might do to all the pundits).

“It would be crushing,” he said. “It would be extremely difficult.”

Mr. Cook put it more succinctly. “I think you’d see a Jim Jones situation — it would be a mass suicide,” he said.

First glass on me, Demofascists!

I did my part!

Based on my poll simple of one - Steele wins in a landslide.

If Steele wins Maryland -- it would be a miracle. No shot. Zero.

Great candidate -- great guy -- great campaign -- and he once did a campaign stop for me -- so I wish it was true.

he will be lucky to close to within 4 points.

If he wins -- which again I think is a zero possibility -- the republicans will hold the house and senate -- and this hype will be exposed. Unfortunately -- I see no indication of that -- none.

sorry.

If Steele wins, it will be worth losing Santorum or Allen. Black Republicans really piss of the Dims.

All right, so where are all the blacks that voted for Steele? I want to hear that they were disenfranchised--or does playing the race card only work if one votes Democrat?
