Dubya claimed he had a mandate after 2004, too, and we all know how quickly that was spent.
It is a Kerry mandate, as I see it. The Kerry tsunmai that started in Boston swept clear across the country with little interrupton all the way to Seattle. When it's over only the governorships of SD and MN may be saved. People said "change." But they don't know what "change" means.
