Rahm’s War
By Jenni Vinson Trejo
November 9, 2006

“We have captured the House”, was the cry bellowed from the political battlefield on Tuesday night after Americans set out to vote. “We hope to besiege the Senate”, was the second cry uttered by elated political soldiers as they assessed the position they had fought their way to. Their general, Rahm Emmanuel, trained ballet dancer turned Clinton finance manager, turned Illinois Representative has been the driving force behind the successful Democrat campaign.

Ironically, those most opposed to the idea of war, availed themselves of the science and techniques of the art of war in order to win. Rahm opted to know the enemy and be the enemy in order to win. If you can’t beat the Republicans — become the Republicans.

Ironically, those most opposed to the idea of religion chose Emmanuel as their savior! This one never walked on water. He wore a tutu, makeup and tights and still managed to rise to the head of his political party thanks to Bill and Hillary Clinton. Ya gotta love America!

Rahm helped the Democrats pirouette into the U.S. House and Senate by hand picking the candidates to run against the Republicans, most of who were mired and crippled by scandal which the Democrat machine Rahm’s success came about because he chose Democrats who were Conservative in a range of issues from Abortion to Gay Rights to Taxes and Spending.

Rahm helped shift the Democrat Party shift from the far Left where Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid reside to a more palatable zone where most of America abides.

Here’s the win for the Republicans in all of this and the downfall for the Democrats:

1. I hope Rahm knows that what he leaped his party into was a victory over a battle and not the war.

2. I hope Rahm knows that sometimes when you win you really lose.

3.I hope the Democrats leadership will continue to behave as “naturally” as they always do. Things ought to be interesting watching Lady Pelosi round up the newbies who do not share her penchant for Liberal Humanism. She’s going to have to do some major cohersing as she takes over the position of head den Mother in the House.

4.I hope the Republicans will be gracious enough to thank Rahm for waging his war and effectively cleansing and purging the Republican Party of the scoundrels and scallywags. They needed to go. (and PLEEEEAAASE GOP—keep the zippers up, the young and or old aids away and don’t call much attention to yourselves!)

5.I hope the Republicans will thank Rahm for reminding us of how affordable Democrat principals are. As I’ve said before, Liberals will always opt to WIN AT ALL COSTS. Nothing and no one is sacred. Thank you, Rahm for reminding us that we never really do know what Democrats stand for.

6. I hope the Republicans will shower the graceful Rahm with fragrant flowers for allowing the nation to see the circus de nuts and fruits that will now control the agenda in the House and the Senate for the next two years going into the 2008 election.

Above all, I sincerely hope that the flying trapeze and jugglers who have over taken the government thanks to Rahm Emmanuel will manage to stay out of the way while the military works to keep us safe and sound.

God help us! God help us now! I'm Jenni Vinson Trejo. Rahm's War is My opinion. Thank you for listening.

Good one, Jennie. It's tough to beat a party over what it believes when it believes in nothing but power.

I have never understood Rahm Emmanuel's party affiliation. His father is Israeli and Rahm was a civilian volunteer in Israel in the 1991 Gulf war. Obviously, Israel is important to him. Yet he supports a party that would throw Israel under the bus in a heartbeat while vilifying the Bush administration which has been steadfast in its support of Israel. Of course, he studied ballet and went to Sarah Lawrence College, so maybe the homosexual agenda is simply more important to him than Israel's fate.

Good essay, Jenni. What astonishes me is that Rahm is one of the few Clinton finance officers still alive.

When I first read the title I thought, O hell no. But when you think of it-There's a jew controlling the democrat party. Which makes you wonder what Hillary really thinks about that.

How crazy the world is right now.

What astonishes me is that Rahm is one of the few Clinton finance officers still alive.

Those who voted for Clinton in 1992 were ready to turn out his party from congress in 1994.

Gee, he lied to us.

And, Rahm, you've trained your ballet class to lie convincingly.

But, in two years' time those who bought your lie will be ready to vote you out.

Exeunt pirouetting.
