I find this article absolutely hilarious. Of course the one item that raises a particular question is if people are too shy to seek help for this problem, how do you know there are 4 million of them?

Toilet phobias range from a mild dislike of public loos to obsessions where sufferers refuse to leave their homes or even undergo potentially life-saving medical examinations.

Well the other problem is that one might run into George Michael in a public loo. I'd rather "hold it in" than go anywhere near a public loo that he was in.

Obvious! They were counted on the hidden bathroom cams!!!!Bathroom cams would also be a legitimate reason not to use a public loo. Given that danger plus George Michael - we may as well give up on having public toilets.
And forget airplane loos too - those are filled with holiday makers from Swansea who want to join the Mile High Club and got stuck to the point that they'll need a crowbar to remove them.
And of course pub loos have the problem of drunkards with poor aim.
No, it's no wonder people are toilet-phobic. It's common sense.
