The Arctic "struggles" with adjusting "it's" temperatures ?

now here is a perfect example of environMENTALism.

To be imperically precise, the author is obviously predjudiced by flawed scientific emotional extrapolation with an anthropomorphic model of global temperature analysis...

in laymens terms....an environmental kook or "tree hugger"

New patterns of cooling ocean currents, winds suggest region is struggling to keep its balance.

How do inanimate objects "struggle"?

STRUGGLING TO KEEP ITS BALANCE???

What on earth is that supposed to mean?

Other than: We're not seeing the predicted global warming in the Arctic.

Don't confuse the global warming dogma with facts...

""This is a region that is fighting back," said lead author Jacqueline Richter-Menge"

So I take it these loons thing that "the arctic" is a separate, living creature with a brain?

I wonder how long it will take these "scientists" to figure out that "the arctic", like any other region on the earth, is subject to heating and cooling cycles that have been going on long before, and will continue well after, mankinds period on this earth?

Do they not wonder why the arctic at one time was a green lush tropical forrest? Then guess what? a cooling period happened, and it was covered with a thick sheet of ice. Then a warming period happened, (and is still happening) and the ice is retreating.

It has nothing to do with mere, puny mankind, who has the power to change NOTHING on this earth.

We are, in relation to the size of this planet, about as important as some green slime on a single wet rock on a beach with millions of dry clean rocks.

I like how these enviroweenie reporters seem to embed Gaia beliefs into the story or at least, go overboard in romancing nature.

Phrases such as, "region is struggling" and "a region that is fighting back" suggest that the Artic is alive, is conscious of it's environment and has a will of it's own.

LOL ... The Arctic is a denier.

Of course, this will not be considered a refutation of what Algore has been saying. Instead, it will be used to prove that "our efforts" to turn back the tide of global warming are have an effect and we should therefore step up "our efforts."

Apparently these scientists did get the memo - the one that says the scientific method must be subordinate to the worship of Gaia...

The polar ice caps are going to melt.

I always laugh when I hear that. The scientists who say it must be forgetting about the 6 months of darkness that the arctic circle is now in. Think about it, scientists?

The average annual temperature at the North Pole is -25 C and there has been no warming there at all.

Yet the researchers also found new patterns of cooling ocean currents and prevailing winds that suggested the Arctic, long considered a bellwether of global warming, may be reverting in some ways to more normal conditions not seen since the 1970s.
