[ He told the class that if you had a continuum with Communism on the left and Capitalism on the right and Socialism in the middle, he said that Communism and Capitalism is slowly moving towards each other. ]
COMMUNISM .. "IS" SOCIALISM... This comment makes zero sense..
And shows the author knows nothing about communism or socialism..
Socialism is but a symptom of democracy.. Democracy causes socialism and ultimately communism if allowed to mature..
Socialism is Slavery by Government.. A FACT far above Canadian and European(and American democrat) minds to absorb.. Pity..

true that Communism is Socialism derived from Carl Marx's view. But put on a continuum, Communism falls to the left of Socialism and Capitalism falls to the right of Socialism.

Whats NOT mentioned is the Capitalization of Socialism or the Socialization of Capitalism.. like whats happening in China, Europe, and the United States..
In the U.S.A. (SSA) Social Security is pure socialism.. and most Americans would gouge out their eyes before re-thinking it..
Socialism is "Slavery by Government" exactly and implicitly.. With the slaves voting to enslave themselves..
America was not designed to be a democracy, it was designed to be a Republic, exactly for that reason..

What you are saying is exactly what my teacher said in 1984.
He said that Communism was moving closer to Socialism and Capitalism was moving closer to Socialism. He augured that it would not just be in America. And that was in 84. Like you said, you see it in China, Europe, even here in the US. And like Joe said in the 40s, Commies were here. I think the 1930s was when Social Security was set up. That is how long they have been here, spewing their ideals. Check the American Commie web page and see how long they have been established here.
And you are exactly right about being a Republic.

Formed in 1983 during the Cold War by merging splinter factions of the Socialist movement, DSA brought together what it calls "former Socialists and Communists, former old leftists and new leftists, and many who had never been leftists at all." In its early years, DSA supported the Soviet-backed nuclear freeze program that would have consolidated Soviet nuclear superiority in Europe - under the banner of promoting "peace."
Am I crazy, or are these people a National Security threat?

DSA seeks to increase its political influence not by establishing its own party, but rather by working closely with the Democratic Party to promote leftist agendas. "Like our friends and allies in the feminist, labor, civil rights, religious, and community organizing movements, many of us have been active in the Democratic Party," says DSA. "We work with those movements to strengthen the party's left wing, represented by the Congressional Progressive Caucus. ... Maybe sometime in the future ... an alternative national party will be viable. For now, we will continue to support progressives who have a real chance at winning elections, which usually means left-wing Democrats."
I believe this to be true. The Demorats are evil Commie pigs and should be tried for treason.

Here is another one. India used to be back by the Former Soviet Union. Now, a lot of our jobs are going to India. India is moving away from the old way.

Back in the late '70's-early '80's, when I was more familiar with the radical Left, there were so many unionists and Demoncrats involved in certain programs and protests that it was hard to really know what the very Liberal Demoncrats were: just liberals or dyed in the wool Socialists.
I am certain that today there are very radical elements of the Communist/Socialist movements heavily involved in programs and policies that the Demoncrat Party is pursuing.I am convinced that the recognized Demoncrat Party members who are either in, or closely allied with, the so-called Progressive Caucus (PC) are dancing on the very edge of subversion and treason to the government and Constitution of the US.
I knew I had seen the list displayed prominently on the DSA website some time ago. The fact that so many found out about the connections and the pulling of the open link shows me that the "PC" wishes to remain in the shadows as to what beliefs and agendas they really harbor.

I just saw on FOXNews that Briton is riddled with Russian spies right now. They said there are more spies there now then there were during the Cold War.
I don't believe the Cold War to be dead. These people are still active. McCarthy said the CPUSA was under complete control of Moscow. I believe they are still loyal to the Commies in Moscow. I am sure they are not loyal to our Conservative way of life.
Yes, I believe think Moscow has influenced and/or infiltrated our parts of our Media, some University, parts of the Judicial Branch, one of our Political Party's, and almost all of Commiewood.

The problem with McCarthy was the "list of names" in his pocket thing. It was a bluff, he didn't have the list. He was like a runaway prosecutor who knew the defendent was guilty, but didn't have the facts to back him up. Do you cheer the prosecutor for knowing the guy was guilty, or do you blame him for his behavior in trying to prove his case without all the foundation. That is what historians will decide.

How about this take?
