Abortion is human sacrifice -- to the god of self.

Then what? a dog? a dinosaur. Perhaps it should be considered a cuddly seal with those big eyes. Then it would get more respect from the left.

Anyone who has any doubt should go and see the "Bodies Exhibition". It would be perfectly clear that they are indeed human beings.

The unborn is utterly sinless, therefore higher ranked than human. JMHO

Those are conditions that I often hear from Pro-Abortion advocates. I immediately point out the fallacy of those conditions in the following sentence:

These conditions seem suitable; however, these conditions would also seem to designate young infants, the mentally handicapped, and even very decrepit old people as “non-humans”.

The point I was trying to make in this paper is that a human is a human, no matter what anyone says.

The fact that there's still a debate on this issue is unsettling to me. Hence, why I wrote about it.

I did not think you were personally arguing for moderation. But that you were pointing out that some do so.

If you get a chance read Nat Hentoff's columns on abortion. He is a pro life atheist and gives a good approach to arguing against abortion using non religious explanations.

For a good example of how there really is a slippery slope from abortion to outright infanticide read any article by or about Pete Singer.

And I do think you deserve an A on the paper.

The unborn baby has unique human DNA.
The unborn baby has unique human finger prints.
The unborn baby has a human brainwave.
The unborn baby has unique human iris patterns.
The unborn baby has a human heartbeat.
The unborn baby has metabolism.
In all ways we measure whether a person is human and alive, an unborn baby is human and alive.
Some pregnant women are truly desperate.
Some cannot see any alternative.
Is the answer to legally prohibit them from aborting?
I say our efforts should be to create those alternatives.
To publicize those alternatives.
To take care of those women.
Spend your energy there if you are against abortion.

Nice writing style. I don't know what your professor wants as far as citing your sources, but I noticed there's no APA-style parenthetical citations in your paper. Whenever I had to write papers they would always require listing a source in parenthesis after a direct quotation or if I summarized an argument from a book or article.

They are definitely human. I am 24 weeks pregnant and he is constantly moving inside me. I have had complications (was carrying twins but one passed away) so we have had to go to a specialist several times for ultrasounds and the images we have seen are of a human, he was even sucking on his thumb this past Monday on the ultrasound.

1) The "fetus" must be alive - it grows. 2) The "fetus" must be human - it isn't a puppy for a while, and changes into a tree, and then changes into a sea otter, and finally a human at birth. Nope, A puppy is always a puppy, even before it's born. Just ask those who say a human baby isn't human until birth and they will tell you their dog Sadie is pregnant with 7 PUPPIES. Otherwise they would have said, those dead things "growing" in our dog will be dogs when they are born. We don't know what they are right now. Maybe teeny little hippos.

That's how ridiculous this too hash over issue is. Just tell the truth and go find something esle to talk about for a while. It's all because PP has their existence tied up in the lucrative business of murder. Pure and simple.

Same reason why infants are considered fully human in Western culture since it became Christian. (It was not so in pagan Greece or Rome).
