According to the ACLU, and as you will see in the video, the man went to great lengths to keep his bizzare hobby in his personal life seperate from his proffesional one. Therefore I don't disagree with the ACLU on protecting his rights.I just couldn't resist posting about it because it is so strange and hillarious. (Don't watch video if easily offended by profanity that starts with an A).
Via Metro:
An art teacher has been suspended from his school, after footage of him painting with his buttocks on a TV show appeared on YouTube.Stephen Murmer who paints with his bottom, as a self-described 'butt-printing artist', under the name of Stan Murmur was suspended for five days while authorities investigate the video.
Kent Willis, of the American Civil Liberties Union, which is representing Murmer, said: 'As a public employee, he has constitutional rights, and he certainly has the right to engage in private legal activities protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution.'

Proffesionally written. ;-)
IKf he got on TV, it doesn't look like he went far enough in separating his professional life from his personal life......fire him!
so you're saying, the ACLU shouldn't just butt out? Got it. lol

Crappy pictures the butt-painter makes I bet.
Only to the ACLU could posting on YouTube be considered 'private.'
Maybe you are right...I just thought it was hillarious.
Looks like we have the hole story.
I got a second laugh when they showed his actual painting...yep, you guessed it...a BUTTerfly...
Ping!
There are a couple of other threads running on this.
This happens to be my son's school.
I don't have a problem with his "art." I have a problem with the fact that by the end of this week, every kid in that school will have seen the video.
That and the fact that if you look at some of his other "works" he doesn't limit his painting utensils to his cheeks.
OOPs,, Thanks! :-}
