Lab in lacrosse case found many DNA sources (DUKELAX)

A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.

The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

Thanks for the note on Hannity. I am not sure if my wife will let me be at home then, but if so I will check it out.

The boys would have no standing to demand such a test until and unless one is named as the father on the birth certificate, which isn't going to happen, or Liefong tries to introduce the existence of the child as evidence of the rape which he wouldn't do without having already done the testing that proves one of them was, and we know that also isn't going to happen, so the only remaining scenario under which they could demand testing would be in a civil paternity suit brought by Mangum.

No, I think the strategy is to just leave this hanging out there as a suspicion for the ignorant black racists of Durham and elsewhere to glom onto as further proof that there was a rape.

This is why it was so important for the defense to put out the recently filed motions and information that no lax players' DNA was in or on her but that of five other men were.

Yeah, the pregnancy gave Liefong a second bite at the apple, but he's going to have to "spit it out", too.

Sorry to take so long -- I was too upset to watch anymore. Yes, after 2 years, the D.A. said he would drop the case if our son would come back and take a polygraph. We flew Pat home from out of state (where we had him stashed -- legally through the Court, I might add). When our son couldn't tell the Policeman administering the polygraph anything (because nothing happened in the first place), the Officer told him he had flunked the polygraph, that if our son would take a plea he could go on with his life. Our son believed the "nice officer" and since we still had the trial ahead of us to the tune of $35-50K, our son took a plea on the advice of the nice man. The $20,000 I spent on attorneys fees, investigators, witness depositions and whatever was blown. Our son didn't want me to spend any more money on it as he knew what a hardship it was for me and, after all the wise police officer said it would be okay. NEED I SAY ANYTHING MORE TO THE WISE AMONG US -- Police Officers are not always our friends.

We never had a chance to present our evidence in court, never had a chance to do anything. Our son is fine, but it has taken it's toll. The Assistant D.A. who pinned the Accuser's ears back in deposition was floored, she was prepared to drop the charges -- the decision came from higher up the chain to press on and the higher up hadn't seen any evidence. I might point out that the Accuser and the teacher she started this mess with picked me out in court as the defendant. I have the transcript of the preliminary. Yup! They pointed me out to the D.A. and the Judge, describing exactly what I was wearing -- yellow shirt says it as big as life in the transcript. Our son was wearing a pink button-down polo shirt.

If you can't afford to investigate, you won't get justice from L.E. trust me.

Not as a paternity matter, but as a continuation of DNA testing ordered under the Non-Testimonial Order for evidentiary purposes, I believe he can. But if he does, he'll have to disclose those results. Even if he samples the baby, Mangum willing, to see if there's a chance of a genetic marker match with any of the three boys, it would have to be disclosed because it would still be a comparison.

Liefong will either not do the test and let the suspicion hang out there, or he will try to do it on the sly.

And I saw where he said the pregnancy isn't related to this case. IOW she got pregnant AFTER that night, a while after. But when I wrote my earlier comment, we were all under the belief that she had given birth last night.

So I was imagining how Crystal herself could use the nine mo. pregnancy to back out of testifying (she could say she didn't want to hurt her baby's future by going to court to testify against the father of her baby, for rape...IOW, one of the LaCrosse players she accused). I did not say Nifong would try to use it in court.

Oh, never trust the Media, we learned once again.

The whole point is now moot with the true timeline info coming out.

No, she was here early on when Mike Nifong still had some credibility and was believing him when the rest of us did not and we ran her off. It takes a big person to come back and admit she was wrong.

Maybe Nifong wants the DNA test on the baby to prove that it isn't HIS!

I think you have nailed it.

Scuse me? The judge ordered the test. The defense asked for it....Nifong objected....judge smacked him down. Paternity testing will be done.

I assume that you would do a pregnancy test prior to handing out an abortificant(?) in case she was already pregnant.

I understand that marajade was here, as I boiled over the ridiculous turns the threads took at that time.

From what I've read here.....the morning after pill doesn't cause an abortion. Just prevents the pregnancy....

Right but it may have undesirable effects on a fetus or unborn child.

No problem, I was just pointing out that settling is not always easy and Nifong would not have let this case go away until he won the election.

The news about CGM's baby is everywhere. I'm hitting "dele" after "dele" in my email inbox.

Howlin, I've got a funny feeling about this whole damned thing, and I don't like it. Nifong, his allies, the accuser, Duke U, the MSM have done a royally evil and wicked thing. A non-AMERICAN thing. And now the liar has given birth to the "new son of America's truth to power"?

Hairs are tickling up and down the back of my neck.

This whole thing stinks so bad, Islamofascists have got to be sticking their fingers in the wind saying: Hmm... broiled Constitution with Lamb -- what a feast!
