So this guy sticks his head into the door of the barber shop and says "Bob Peters here?" and the barber says "no, we just give haircuts."

In China, a "barber shop" can either be a legitimate place to get your hair cut, or is an illegal brothel. The way to tell the difference is that real barber shops have windows that you can see into, see people getting their hair cut. If the barber shop is around back and upstairs, then Bob Peters is probably there.

It was from an interview I did with him at Wrigley Field when I worked for my college newspaper. Lou took me with him to have lunch with Jack Brickhouse and Vince Lloyd at the Pink Poodle restaurant in Wrigley.

I've only had haircuts maybe once a year for the last 14 years, and that's just to get a little clipped off for any split ends. I wonder if I could go there to get my hair trimmed and washed? haha
