RUSH: James in New York City. James, nice to have you on the program, sir. Welcome.
CALLER: Thank you, sir. I mentioned to your screener that the message better go out to these other countries that think they're going to harm the United States, that there are nuclear weapons in the United States, and it doesn't take our Air Force or our Army to deliver them. And if they think that we're going to sit back the first time they trigger something like that and just take it, they're in for a big, big awakening. And on the other issue, I am a Jew, and my great-grandparents and grandparents were murdered by the Nazis. My parents got out by the skin of their teeth. If there was no Holocaust, where are my great aunts and my great uncles? Where are my grandparents that I have never been able to enjoy? What happened to them? They didn't exist?
An Omen Of Things To Come?
RUSH: Well, that's what these people want people to believe. You know, it's very serious. As to your first point about we have nukes, too, and the Iranians better realize it. Here's what I think the Iranians are seeing, and this is what I think Al-Qaeda is seeing. And I think the ChiComs are taking their measure. They see us as not using the nukes. They see us as not really defending ourselves. I mean, even the way we've gone about it in Iraq is sort of half-baked. They see us as unwilling to take casualties. They see us as a passive population. Mahmoud has done his best to threaten and provoke, and all we do is respond with words, and all the civilized world does is respond with words. He sees a group of Americans put out this supposedly scholarly study that says, "We think, Mahmoud, we should talk to you about solving our problems in Iraq."
Mahmoud "End Of The World" Ahmedinejad
Now, if I'm Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, I only interpret this one way. I'm dealing with a bunch of wusses. I'm dealing with a bunch of people who can't take it. He might be thinking, "I'm not going to nuke the United States. I don't have the means to do it anyway, even if I got a nuke weapon next month or next year, I don't have the transport system. Maybe I can do a suitcase nuke that nobody could trace back to me, could probably do that." But I think they're into the mode of intimidation, just claiming or threatening that they will do it, and the world's not going to stop 'em from getting a nuke. That's patently obvious. Why would the world stop them from using it? If the world's not going to stop them from getting it, why would Mahmoud think that anybody's going to make any effort to stop him from using it? Even if he does use it somewhere down the line, he's probably thinking nobody's going to retaliate because they won't want to expand the conflict. He sees half the population of this country who are trying now to deny that 9/11 meant anything more than just an isolated crime. He sees an entire political party in this country and movement, the Democratic Party and the American left, doing its best to punish its own president and members of its own military for defending this country after that attack, Abu Ghraib, Club Gitmo, you name it.
If you put yourself in the shoes or the moccasins, whatever Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wears, I guarantee the only thing that threatens you, the only thing that might give you some pause about the United States of America is George W. Bush, who is going to be gone in a couple of years. So you bide your time, and you end up with a Barack Obama or a Hillary Clinton or a John Kerry or a John Edwards or a whoever, and that's what they'll be hoping for. He's seeing that the whole country will become what half the country today is: pacifists, in denial, not wanting confrontation, not thinking it's worth it, accommodating, bending over backwards to make our enemies like us. Bin Laden has seen it ever since Mogadishu. Ahmadinejad's beginning to get his personal taste of it now. He does this "Holocaust didn't happen" convention, and all he's done is gin up more talk and conversation about it. Yeah, the predictable, "We are outraged by it," has happened. But that's about it.
So if I'm Ahmadinejad, I actually don't think in a couple of years I'm going to be dealing with a president who would ever retaliate against me with a nuclear weapon if I use one of my own. And even if he's wrong, he's still got this belief that he's presiding over the end of the infidels and the arrival of the 12th imam. A nuclear Holocaust, why, the way he reads the Koran, it may just be what's in store the next two or three years. But of course we in America can't condemn that because people are free to practice whatever religion they want. Our Constitution has become a suicide pact to way too many people.

I suggest we drop a hydrogen bomb on Tehran and give him his wish.
How about just a JDAM on his house? I don't want to throw all the Iranian people into his camp.
He should read Kipling's poem Et Donat Ferentes.
Yep. He can have his very own "end of the world."
Merry Christmas, Mr. Ahmedinejad!
We should have had airstrikes against Iran's nuke program months ago.
Yes, it comes at high costs. But we wouldn't let Hitler have nukes, and Hitler valued his own survival. In contrast, the apocalypse is Ahmadinejad's GOAL.
Will our elites wake up in time?
Slow to respond worked in the '40's, '50's and 60's. But now, with both nuclear weapons and the means for delivery proliferating among unstable regimes, we ain't got time to screw around!
I am convinced that Iran is doing what the US did in the 1960's - concurrant engineering of both a nuclear weapon and a delivery system that would carry it.
We had no idea how small the bomb had to be to be carried on an ICBM...we had no idea how big the ICBM had to be to carry a bomb. We developed both concurrantly - expensive, messy, but quicker than doing it serially.
Iran has, last I heard, around 50 nuclear research sites. Probably a bunch more missile development sites. They are not just developing a nuke - they are developing a "weaponized" nuke that their missles can carry - right out of the box.
You won't see Iran go through a testing program. The first test blast will be over Tel Aviv. The next....take your pick; over Brussels, Baghdad, or Ryihad.
As Churchill used to say...."Action - this day!"
Soon. Very soon. I really get a kick outa this 'Age Of The 12th Imam' poppycock. But that's just me...................FRegards
It WILL be the end of his little Hitler Wannabee World.
Soon. Quite soon.
Indeed it will be soon.
Ahmadamndingdong will soon come face to face with the original "bottled sunshine" courtesy of the One Who made it in the first place.
Read Ezekiel 38 and 39.
