Norways Minister of Justice from 2001 to 2005, Odd Einar Dørum, mentioned the problem in 2001 but has later gone quiet about the issue. The reported number of rapes in Oslo is now six 6! times as high per capita as in New York City, yet the media keeps warning against Islamophobia.
According to Aftenposten, the clinic (voldtektsmottak) at the emergency hospital known as Legevakt has never had so many rape victims to treat. Its ability to care for them all is being severely tested. The number of reported rapes has skyrocketed this year.
Two out of three charged with rape in Norways capital are immigrants with a non-western background according to a police study. The number of rape cases is also rising steadily. Unni Wikan, a professor of social anthropology at the University of Oslo, in 2001 said that Norwegian women must take their share of responsibility for these rapes because Muslim men found their manner of dress provocative. The professors conclusion was not that Muslim men living in the West needed to adjust to Western norms, but the exact opposite: Norwegian women must realize that we live in a Multicultural society and adapt themselves to it.

Those yutes sure like their meat, don't they?
I just finished watching ABC News and somehow it missed this story. Must have been an oversight.
Yeah, it is the fault of Norwegian women for being more attractive than goats. This from one of the countries who put up among the most heroic resistence movements in World War II. We ought to send some Norwegian-Americans over to give their ladies shooting practice and pay them bounty for every Muzzie rapist scalp turned in.

At last something good comes from Islam ... a
return to modesty.
I'm waiting for NOW to issue an official protest against the Norwegian Government for leaving so many of its women so callously unprotected.
Of course, that was then, and this is now. Time to adjust to the new reality, ladies. Don't forget to vote.
Muslims call these victims : 'uncovered meat ?'
Does NOW have an opinion on this?
Norwegian women must take their share of responsibility for these rapes because Muslim men found their manner of dress provocative"
Oh brother...are these people living in the dark ages? Provocative dress has nothing to do with rape. Rape isn't about sex, it's about anger and rage.
So if youre Muslim in Norway its open season on Norwegian women. Thats almost enough to make a man want to convert.
Why are you a member of Islam.?? I did it for the free sex.
We have this religion that isists their own women being covered from head to foot so no one will possibly be turned on by them and yet they seem to be fully in agreement with their men raping Norwegian women.
The religion of Piece.
Can you imagine the hew and cry that would arise if some Christian man were to rape one of their women? Where are the screams from the NOW cows. I guess as long as they can get their abortions, womens rights dont mean much to them.
I believe in the case of an Islamic man raping a Christian woman that Islamic law should prevail and the offending limb ---penis--should be cut off.
Point well taken, and a good one.
Paging NOW....NOW...pick up the telephone...</sarc>

Really? Well, then I guess Muslim men must take their share of responsibility for being profiled, arrested and jailed because Westerners find their manner of dress, behavior, and worship provocative.
The Vikings of old would have called these Muslims "dead meat".
Uh, well no... It's not politically correct for pale men to rape dark women. Only the other way around is acceptable.
