Those kilts are mostly for ceremonial reasons now. They aren't cheap. You have to be a really big and strong dude to wear that uniform. I was at Edinburgh Castle to watch tryouts for the Games once. Those dudes were big.

The Scots will soon stand down, because there is no longer a community based Scottish Regimental system.

The Brits know they will stand down, and the Socialist government is trying to save money.

The reason the Brits do not want a community based regimental system is that the soldiers from it are not maleable enough, they know right from wrong, and speak up about it. The Brits want silent warriors, who do as they are told and keep quiet about it, and who cannot organize community politics in opposition to governmental liberal socialist faux pas at home and abroad.

Its the greening of the British military, which soon will be little better than a semi-armed peace corps, with a one button nuclear option. Very dangerous in todays world of Islamofascist community based jihad warriors.Now the Brits will not have a community based military to fight the strongly community strengthened jihadis. The Brits have traded their strength for weakness against a strong urban community based adversary. When the proverbial shite hits the fan, as it most assuredly will, and civil strive mounts in Britain thanks to the Islamofascists, the British military will not have the necessary community strength to cope with it.
