Hunter is a great candidate. I can't imagine any good reason to vote for a Hagel, Giuliani or McCain type in the primary with this guy.

"an Alpine Republican"
He campaigns on skis??
Seriously, I like this guy. Right now he's my first choice. I hope he can get the money together to compete with JulieAnnnie. "Mitt" and McLame.
I think he's a true-blue social conservative - the kind of guy the Mehlmens and Esienbergs, Keans, and Whitmans, Snowes, Hegels, and Chaffees hate.

Alright, he's in the arena! Great news. I was thinking about donating some money to his committee but I think I'm going to wait until he gets his official campaign site so it can go all towards campaigning for him.

Pro-borders, pro-sovereignty, America first, pro-war on terror representative with years of experience and a strong supporter of the military. Conservative in just about any way, shape or form you can imagine.

I have yet to see if he can. Hopefully someone will come along to answer this better than I can.
To: tiger-one
Oh yes. He's the one who questioned the media's coverage of Guantanamo by bringing a plate of the food in which the prisoners are served to a news conference. He questioned the media's coverage of Abu Ghraib and calling it 'torture'. He then called for CNN to be taken out as embeds with our troops in Iraq for their airing of the video of a terrorist sniper killing one of our troops. He then went on to ask Wolf Blitzer if CNN wants the USA to win in Iraq and told them they are no longer Ernie Pyle's on our side but working for the enemy. He's amazing.

...read the thread on #9. At least from what is written he sounds very articulate. I don't believe I've ever heard him talk. As long as he doesn't sound like Jerry Kilgore.

Don't forget his military exp. I like him because the Elitist, the Globalists and the OBL will hate him as much as Tancredo. I'm sure they're planning their smear campaign as We type.

I thought there was an Alpine County, CA near Lake Tahoe but Hunter represents the San Diego area. I don't know of any town near San Diego (or neighborhood of San Diego) called Alpine. I've been there only once but I have an interest in geography.
Maybe he was born in Alpine, CA?
