I'd rather he target Islam than the Chinese at this point.
I could never vote for a candidate who thinks (and has explicitly stated) that my Constitutional rights end at the New York city limits...
I'm truly amazed how the so-called conservatives are shaken from the tree after a bad election.
FYI, that's not my quote, i added the hi-5 thing. Do you disagree? If so, maybe because the truth hurts?
I'm not sure I understand your reply. I understood your original post as saying you want to talk about true conservatives, not someone like Rudy. Is that correct?
Excellent post on why Duncan Hunter is the right candidate for these times.
But didn't Alan Keyes go far in the campaign? He was in the last three in the campaign. Hunter is better than Alan Keyes ever was, without coming off as harsh as Keyes could at times.
Thanks for the kind words my FRiend.
I have to say that for the first time since '84, I am getting truly excited about the prospects of ANY Republican candidate for President, and I say that as someone who has voted a straight Republican ticket since the days of Nixon/Agnew.
Ronald Reagan's presidency was a benchmark against which all other candidates ought to be judged. Yes, Reagan made some errors as any flawed human is apt to do. But I recall a quote from our 40th President, something to the effect of he'll take the blame for all of the mistakes his Administration may have made, if his Administration will get the credit for all of the many things they did RIGHT.
Duncan Hunter arrived in Washington in 1980, part of the Reagan Revolution, and he's more than paid his dues. And I like the fact that he has been in the House of Representatives rather than the oh-so-elite club of the Senate where RINOS and 'Rats all smile and refer to each other as "my dear friend", etc., etc., ad nauseum.
President Hunter WILL lead America to victory in the War on Terror.
And as the saying goes, "there is no substitute for victory."
I love the name of the PAC "Peace through Strength" fantastic!

You are correct. It may serve as a salutary reminder that Democrat Senator-elects Webb, Casey, and Tester ran on "conservative themes" and got themselves elected (their level of sincerity will of course become manifest with time).
I second that.
Yes, Hunter was a lawyer who worked on the behalf of Hispanics. I think I read he did many times with no pay.
