I did, too. Didn't get to join in (MSM only here) until about an hour into everything, just before the stop at WWII, which I wanted to see.
Got to hear the Navy Hymn, anyway, which was my main goal. It was just the first verse, but that was enough. I am plagued with nerve-shattering noise pollution from neighbors, so really didn't get to be as reverent as I wanted to be - but crying, just the same.
Loved Dick Cheney's (*smooches*) eulogy and Hastert's both. Had earphones on for those, so it was OK. Pretty amazing, after the earlier narrative by MSM wonk that Pres Ford was disgusted with Cheney in the past two years. Gag. As my dad's friend used to chide, "But he says such nice things about you!"
God bless the "good and decent®" President Gerald Ford! Condolences to Betty, Susan, Steve and all the family. Thank you, thank you!
Cheney's eulogy was BEAUTIFUL and Mrs. Ford's dignity has been something to behold.
You mentioned Steve Ford...is he married? I remember him from long ago on Y&R.
