I'd like to know exactly who these "National Archives staff" are and why they thought it appropriate to call Clinton's attorney first instead of the D.C. police.
They should be strung up along with Berger.

What makes me go rabid about this Sandy Burger and the classified documents issue is this..When I was on active duty as a 1stLT I was the custodian for S&C files, the TS Material Control Officer and CommSec. Custodian.
Insofar as the classified documents are concerned, any document that came into my shop and any copies of this document were numbered. When we did inventory of our vaults, we not only counted the documents which would be numbered ie..1 of 4, 2 of 4 etc , each and every document, no matter how small or large was PAGE CHECKED to make sure no pages were missing! God help me if I lost anything out of those vaults . The offices to which documents were released were in the custody of what was called a Local Holder who was responsible for those documents as long as they were checked out to that office.
If I were investigating this Berger caper I would start with the custodian and ask why, just because this guy said he wanted privacy, did you give it to him? The custodian is responsible for ensuring safe keeping of the documents. AS a 1stLt I went up against a full bird Col when he let his Local Holder leave without properly checking out, havining inventory etc...Berger is not God and the custodian should not have allowed him/herself to be bullied. Next I would go after Burger with vengence and he should never ever be given access to documents of a classified nature again.

Again, this was nearly four years after Clinton, Lindsey, etc. were GONE from the White House!

Savage had on an ex-CIA guy the other day and the dude said that he's got info that Burglar stole documents that would have proven the Clintons' lax attitude to be a direct contributing factor to the events of 9/11 because they failed to aggressively pursue bin Laden and his cronies. Burglar stole the goods to protect himself and Clinton and their co-conspirators in the greatest intel failure in this country's history. Torture is too good for this piece of garbage. I'd like to take him apart with a vegetable peeler and a butane torch.

I've wondered the same thing, Brimack. If the Libs/Dems can revolt and get media play, maybe we can too if we scream and shout loud enough and long enough. What we need is someone in with a voice (John Gibson at Fox?) to hear us and report on it. Letters, phone calls to anyone who is anyone. I refuse to give up and let Berger get away with this without a strong fight.
