Do you have any names?
Fell better now that you got it off your chest?
there are some here who post under false intentions...like programmed C-Span(ning for democrats) callers....It is inevidible as we freepers are a force to be reckoned with.
It needed to be said. Dittos.
Just a question? Do you think some people are really "deaftist" and want to cut and run like Chuck Hagel? Or are more just disgusted because we are tired of see us put the gloves on to later take them off and we just want to win wars the way they are supposed to be won?
I don't think we have to call names. Those who are matching that description will hopefully read this and rethink their position.
From the posts and comments I read here I would say that 90% of those support our troops, support what we are trying to accomplish in Iraq and are not in any way defeatist. I don't pay much attention to the other 10%.
The alternative for not taking the gloves in a fight is not to completely leave the fight.
Dude, we're still a free people and it's okay to debate what our government's policy should be.
Many Americans have no concept of what losing in Iraq will mean to our own comfy lives here in this nation. We must win or face miserable changes and deadly consequences.
We are winning this war. But too many on FR buy what the MSM feeds them.
There are a lot of victories out there. Thank God for the President and our leadership.
I will not name names but you can easily recognize them from their defeatist posts.
ok
What is the line between debate, defeatism, and providing aid and comfort to the enemy through under the cover of "debate"?
Can you at least quote them? I'm not aware of any regular here who opposes the President's plan.

Exactly. Many defeatist believe that if we leave Iraq it will be just a civil war where Iraqis will be killing each other, they cannot be possibly more wrong. The consequences of us leaving Iraq before complete victory will be the worst disaster that will inflict our nation and the whole world.
As some one who supports victory without qualification I am a little disturbed by your suggestion that we give blanket support for the president. If his plans fail in Iraq like they have so far, we have a duty to point this out and push him to take the kid gloves off of our armed forces and to push for a plan that works. I wonder how many people here who scream at anyone who criticizes the handling of the war thus far would be doing so if Bush had a D after his named. Granted I have been here for just over a year now, but I know of no one here who is a defeatist or cut and runner. Most people I here from here like me want our troops to be able to act like troops and for us to achieve victory.
