I'm in. And I'm in to win.

Today I am announcing that I will form an exploratory committee to run for president.

And I want you to join me not just for the campaign but for a conversation about the future of our country -- about the bold but practical changes we need to overcome six years of Bush administration failures.

We also thought she'd self-destruct in her NY Senate campaigns. I don't underestimate this woman. She's a very real threat

This "exploratory committee" step is a holding action, a response to Obama-mania. She is still not certain to run. She has yet to settle on a winning strategy, although I think the outlines are starting to emerge. If she decides finally to run, we will be treated to a softer, friendlier, yet firm on security Hillary--a security Mom with grit. She is paying close attention to Pelosi's SanFran Granny Nan act, to see how it plays. If I am right, and I did predict with certainty her senate victory in 2000, she will be a formidable candidate--"the NEW Hillary," like "the New Nixon" in 1968.

Prepare for much weeping and gnashing of teeth and barf alerts galore.

She will win what? The nomination? Yes. The election? I wouldn't count on it.

She's hated more than any woman in this country by the people who don't worship her, and she's got more baggage than can be dealt with, even with a fawning media, IMO.

That could be it

I keep remembering an article I read way back about Hellary's first run for the Senate and how the NYT did a nasty hit piece on her in the beginning of her run and how that it was their way of saying they were fair and balanced in their reporting

But they didn't do another one like that afterwards

There was another story that caught my attention .. it was the Maureen Dowd piece about Obama having big ears .. but MSNBC didn't report that .. they only reported it was Rush that made fun of his ears

... about the bold but practical changes we need to overcome six years of Bush administration failures.

Let's see...

Universal Healthcare - Bold, NOT. Practical, NOT.

Tax increases for the "universal good" - Bold, NOT. Practical, NOT.

Just in general, the RATS are neither bold nor practical.

But, then, neither are the Pubs :)

Clinton, who was re-elected to a second term last November, said she will spend the next two years "doing everything in my power to limit the damage George W. Bush can do. But only a new president will be able to undo Bush's mistakes and restore our hope and optimism."

This kinda crap infuriates me. The Bush family treats the clintoons with such class and grace, and the toons insult them at every turn. How do they look the Bushes in the eyes?

I still don't think she can win though, mystery. There's just too much to hide.

Maybe it's the cockeyed optimist in me, but her HINO at least has charisma. When the American people hear her giving speeches their hair will curl.

Oh no, this can't be true. Who'da thunk it? Her mouth will write so many checks her a$$ can't cash. Even Chris Matthews said neither Hillary or Obama can win. The Dems need a real candidate. I was shocked.

Here's my guess .. the press will ask some hard questions

BUT they will not do 15 follow ups and nail her to the wall like the do to our side

How? She's all smoke and mirrors and media cover-up.

When she's out there on her own, she doesn't have a single quality that's attractive.

The only ones with the guts to ask these questions will never get within 100 yards of her.
I really do fear for our Liberty and our Country.

Don't you know that's "ancient" history

That's right. Anything that happened during the Clinton administration will be designated as "old news" and buried by the media. After eight years, many people will have forgotten why they hated her in the first place, and her new persona will be, if not charming, at least different enough that people will say "she has changed--give her a chance." It worked for Nixon, and he was at least as devoid of charm as Hillary on a bad day.

G*d help us. I'll be reviewing my options for relocation out of the country immediately on the off chance that the majority of the electorate is collectively insane and she might win.

We've all known this was coming.... now watch the press hit a new low in political favoritism. She'll have a standing invitation with glowing raves from "not so perky Katie", Rosie, etc.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the GOP. Never underestimate the stupidity of the average American voter. She has a uterus and that's attractive enough to enough people.

Could be, Mo.

They'll ask a hard question and then just smile and nod when she lies through her teeth in response.

But the truth is a powerful thing. She's a nothing, and that will come through........eventually.

Just think about this. The media will cover every speech she makes. THINK about how she sounds. THINK about what she says.

Even with skillful editing, they can't hide that she truly is a witch.
