The Central Scrutinizer (She's Backkkk!!!!!)
Redstate.com ^ | 23 January 2007 | .cnI redruM

When Avant-Garde Rocker Frank Zappa invented his risible, daffy villain character for the fasical concept album Joe’s Garage, he named this entity The Central Scrutinizer. It never occurred to Mr. Zappa that this imaginary villain would be female, avowedly liberal, and seek the Presidency after a stint in the Senate from The Great State of New York. Yet, however, this dystopia becomes a very real possibility as Hillary dons the pastels, offers up the “free health care” to the middle class, and runs to be everyone’s mommy.

When moderate liberal Blogger Mickey Kaus described one of Hillary’s more “nuanced” stands on one of the issues of the day as a “sleazy kabuki straddle”, he summed up Hillary's chosen graveman to loft her into the penthouse. One the one hand, Hillary is here to care about us and protect us. On the other, she wears the mailed fist. She uses that other, unseen hand to grab enough power to care more than the rest of us.

So, on the surface, we get “Mother Hillary”. The woman who opted for the ever-so-calculated soft launch to her Presidential campaign. Back down in the muck, we get her Evil Doppelganger; The Central Scrutinizer. The woman who’s infamous Health Security Plan would have nationalized one tenth of the US economy, is one and the same with Mother Hillary, of the soft launch web cast.

Hillary tells that it takes a village to indoctrinate; rather, raise a child. She doesn’t need to remind us that she has an FBI file on every citizen of her collectivized village. If you thought it was bad when Mom snooped around in your room back in High School, you do not want this woman controlling our government.

As an aspiring Central Scrutinizer, Hillary doesn’t want to take care of you for your own good. She wants to take care of you with an emphasis on the taking. When campaigning on behalf of Senator Barbara Boxer, who at times seems to need more than Hillary Care could possibly provide, Hillary admitted her galling cupidity.

“Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you,” Sen. Clinton said. “We’re saying that for America to get back on track, we’re probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.” – LGF

Anybody, anywhere who has ever been starved to death by some soul-sucking, tyrannical pig, probably got told that that things would get taken away to benefit the common good. It provides a sad and pathetic commentary on our own willingness and ability to manage our personnel risks that we actually think the common good will make any of us good common folk anything other than dead broke.

The Sheriff of Nottingham collected taxes on behalf of the common good. When some takes something away from you, it’s not for the common good. You’re just getting yinced.

I watch Hillary’s meteoric ascent, through an abbreviated Cursus Honorem, to the pinnacle of American power, and wonder what our Founding Fathers would say to us in reproach. Hillary can lead us to safety, or perhaps to Madame Guillotine. Whatever; provided we get free healthcare for our aching necks.

Zappa also created the Appliantologists. Little did he realize then that Tom Cruise would make it a household word.

Yeah, it's too bad Tom Cruise doesn't go back into the closet. He could find something that looks just like a Telefunken U-47 :)

She already has the Dem nomination. This primary has two purposes.

1) A Veep audition.
2) Free publicity for the Democratic nomination.

You is what you am
You are what you is

It's a good piece, but what on earth is a 'chosen graveman'? Is this an American idiom? A spellchecker-distorted version of 'gravamen'? Mysterious!

Or as Mamie Yoakum put it in Gone With The Wind. You can take a mule You can wash his coat You can brush him out real nice and You can dress him up in horse-harness. But he's still just a mule in horse-harness.

Just you wait, my pretty, your not going to get away with calling me a scrutinizer! I've been watching you all and I will do with you what I did with Bill. Why do you think they call him the "Bent One" after all.

I think, to Howard Dean and Ned Lamont's great detriment, the power of the Dem Party's Nutroots is greatly overstated. Generally by members of The Nutroots themselves.

Hilary's a socialist, but there's no need to drag a perfectly valid term, like "the common good," through the mud, even if Hilary uses the term. The notion of "the common good," or "the general Welfare," as it's phrased in the preamble to the US Constitution, has been recognized by all great political philosophers, from Aristotle through St. Thomas Aquinas. Hilary is simply hijacking the term for her own socialist purposes.

If we don't stick together , we could have Hillary as president. We better all decide to stick together ,and not get petty . Let's go though the process and decide through the primary and get behind whoever is selected.Don't do to the White House what we did to the congress. Now the door is slammed in our faces and we cannot get any thing done. If she is elected look abortion, parents will have no control over their children the state will, and look out for our troops.Remember it is better to have the door opened to us then slammed in our faces while they laugh because they won.
