Good article. The dems also sat on their hands last night at the mention of 'victory in Iraq'! I am certain that the dem display did not go unnoticed by our enemies. Let's hope it did not go unnoticed by the American people as well!

Their silence echos the moderate Muslims rallying cries against jihad. Mohammed's mobs have a way of muzzling the weak-minded.

Lesser anti-truth, anti-freedom, anti-individual, anti-life collectives could join forces with the greatest collective in the history of civilization.

"...if she (Hillary) recognizes that the future of the civilized world depends on winning that war, she shows little sign of it."

These Liberals all have a blind spot a mile wide where National Security is concerned. I think we could fill the universe with what they will NOT admit about our imminent peril.

The Liberal posture on the WOT is incredibly naive and it frightens every American who even casually considers our situation. Personally, an hour of the day does not go by that I do not think of what is happening abroad and what the potential danger is to us in our own homeland. Why the perpetual anxiety??? Because here and now, the Liberal party in this country is actually fielding candidates for nomination to the next Presidential race who themselves have disparaged current policy in the WOT (on political grounds or whatever) or else do not address the issue directly at all. This, the Liberal leadership does with complete confidence that their candidates will not be challenged. Their expectation in this is as surreal as the idea that a candidate can expect serious consideration while ignoring THE practical and political issue of our age.

Of course. Dems are socialists and marxists. They support anything that the "downtrodden", "have nots", "underclass" does to the "oppressors". They SUPPORT the jihadists!

The dems are in bed with the Jihadists because they have the same enemy, the US. I have a son in Iraq and had another son there last year. I have more to lose than those jerk dems yet they want to "cut and run".

They lack humility and patriotism. They are a plague on this country.

It doesn't matter what any of the Dem candidates say or what positions if any they will take.
They will take the stage for the primary debates and one after another they will take to the microphone and rip on President Bush and accuse the Republicans of being corrupt and never lay a glove on one another.
And on and on it goes.

These spineless, gutless, politicians who support our defeat in Iraq, while giving aid and comfort to the enemy, are more dangerous to our freedom than Al-Qaeda. A plague on all their houses.

Whoever says that the Democrats are silent on the fight against the islam fundamentalists has been unconscious for the last 6 years.

They, and their propaganda machine, the alphabet news organizations have been doing everything in their power to cheer them on and aid and abet them to win. Against the United States.

Obama's father was Muslim and he attended a Muslim school. That might have something to do with his silence.

Most excellent brief essay on the fecklessness (or worse) of Democrats. Kudos to Jeff Jacoby on this troubling observation.

Maybe the Dems should retire the donkey in favor of this critter:
