This is critical for "ALL" religions in this country.

Sorry for the rudeness.

I'm surprised the Anti-Christian Lawyers Union has not come to the school's defense.

Well, Christ is SUPERIOR to the other "gods". I'm not ashamed of Him. If others want to display their gods, that's up to them or no god at all - I'm secure that I believe in the RIGHT ONE!

Time to impeach Mordue for his obvious, blatant discrimination against Christians. We really need to clean up the Federal Judiciary and get rid of bigots like this one.

If the poster said "Bush Sucks" the kid would have received an award.

It blows my mind how ignorant of the constitution the educators in this country can be.

School officials displayed the poster, but it was folded in half so the picture of the robed man was not visible. This is ridiculous beyond words. I wonder who the genius was who came up with this "solution".

"...Baldwinsville were given an assignment to create a poster about the environment."
What better way then to show what he believes created the environment.
Put the kids name on it along with the 1st Amendment highlighting "... or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;...".

I'm glad that I'm not working for that school district. Frankly, I have a full plate teaching bored teenagers proper spelling and grammar, and if one of my students wants to invoke Jesus and God in his or her writing and reading, I don't have a problem. I have to wonder what kind of a control freak would feel obliged to "hide" a figure that might look like Jesus in a kid's picture. The teacher deserves to be fired (yeah, yeah, yeah, next to impossible because of tenure... you don't have to tell me tenure is a travesty... I see it all the time...)
It's frustrating to have fools like the ones in this school district make the rest of us look like we're cut from the same cloth.

Establishing enforced secularism as the state religion violates both the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause.

Matt Staver and the Liberty Counsel do good work. They defend your right to religious expression and will take on cases for free.

"Teacher Susan Weichert and Principal Robert Creme, who testified Monday, objected to the poster because they said it promoted one religion over another and could offend others." The school promotes no religion over some religion. Some of us are offended by that. So will the principle resign??
