Cesium 137 would be that "something much worse." However, I think one of the things the remote 'bots have is radiacs as well to make sure they don't blow one of those up by mistake.

Shep says that the BPD says they are "hooks devices." What is that?
He's saying "hoax devices" maybe?

Ah, but this is Tufts, so they were probably just doing extra credit for a Mideastern Studies prof in the IR school. ;-)

It was filled with electronics. There is a Music Complex right there were half assed bands practice. Someone probably stole an AMP, ditched it and was going to come back later.

Our device was not an active device Similar to Pelosi's face and Hillary's personality, then.

It's just a 'spoof' by MIT students.

This morning on the Washington DC Metro system, a "suspicious package" was found on the Braddock Road Metro stop. This station was likewise closed during the investigation
Link to story.
Coincidence? One wonders...

A crazy theory out of the blue: Iran sending a warning?
Though far, far more likely it is a crackpot or three pulling a hoax. Current or former college kids, probably leftist/anarchist-leaning brats.

Exactly. in this case "hoax" = "practice". Maybe congress can convince them to paint them blue so the cops don't put up those stupid tapes and redirect our trips to the nearest Starbucks.

No, MIT students don't do this kind of thing.
