Hillary's Time Machine: Wouldn't Have Started War if She Were Prez in '02

Hillary's Time Machine: Wouldn't Have Started War if She Were Prez in '02 Posted by Mark Finkelstein on February 2, 2007 - 19:13.

Hillary has gone John Kerry one better. The junior senator from Massachusetts of baleful Gallic mien merely voted for the $87 billion . . . before he voted against it.

That's nothing. Hillary Clinton fired up the Time Machine, travelled back to 2002, and assured her fellow Dems that had she been president, the war in Iraq would never have happened.

On this afternoon's Hardball, Chris Matthews played the clip of an angry Hillary saying this today to the winter meeting of the DNC:

"If I had been president in October, 2002, I would not have started this war. I would not!"

View video here.

Good to know! Most excellent adventure, Hillary Dude! And the fact that you voted to authorize President Bush to start the war? No problem! You can fix that on your next time travel.

Yo, Hillary as First Lady channeled Eleanor Roosevelt.

Perhaps she's losing her touch? She can only do an "excellent adventure" in that's she's travelling into the past stuck in a phone booth?

Bingo! President Bush didn't start the Iraq war in 2002 either, IIRC it was in March 2003 ... but don't let facts get in the way of a good demagoguery

Since we are talking about time travel, would Mrs. Clinton have sent Americans to free South Korea from the dictator who took it over, Kim Jung-il's father?

Truman sent Americans to Korea, in the summer of 1950. He said it was to fight a "police action" against "bandits."

30,000 Americans died in 30 months in Korea, under Democratic President Truman.

Full wartime censorship was imposed while Truman was president, [January 9, 1951]

Reporters were placed under jusrisdiction of the army and were not allowed to criticize Allied conduct of the war. Dispatches were screened to make sure they would not hurt morale. Newsmen who reported troop movements without authorization could be court martialed. Casualties could not be revealed before official publication.

Would Kennedy have called Truman a "liar," for saying we were going to Korea to fight bandits? Would Durbin have criticized the Democratic administration for saying the troops would be home within 6 months (by Christmas)?

Then why didn't she vote against it when she had the chance? Talking out of both sides of her mouth...as always.

This lying whore will do and say anything for power.

If she gets power we are finished.

Can you say "Master"?

I thought you could.

If sanchez is a whore {according to the chairman of the spanish kaka} what word would he use in describing the bitch? The one word that comes to mind is so atomic that merely by thinking about it, I am about to be dispatched by the mods. You all know it, so go ahead, say it {but under your breath}.

Hillary would nuke every Republican in America if she could get away with it. She would kill her own mother to advance her power. She is the most dangerous politician we have ever seen. She IS the catalyst for the next Boston tea party.

If Hillary is going to run for POTUS she should resign from the Senate.
