Damn it, I had the original "The Warriors" movie but I lost it. I heard the special edition totally sucks. That movie does bring back some memories though.

Yep. I remember when Oildale (northern part of Bakersfield) had KKK out there all the time. Now Oildale is full of illegals.
Amazing how fast it all happens.

Canoga Park Alabama: I used to live in CP as a teen in the early '80's and it. It wasn't awful then, but you could see the handwriting (or graffiti) on the wall. I can't imagine how far it's fallen since then.
A little bit of strong medicine 20 years ago would have saved LA, but since PC wouldn't allow it, the solutions available to us today are unthinkable. It very well is our very own Baghdad.

Worse. Gang violence has taken, by some estimates, thirty THOUSAND lives (over 10 times Iraq combat death total) in the past 30 years.
IOW, it's WORSE than Iraq.
