I cannot believe Mark Kirk (IL) is on this list. He is my congressman and has been a solid military supporter, and BUsh/GOPer for years. I left his office a VM asking for his explanation. I am outraged that he used my vote for him in this manner!

I have to worry about my Senator (Sununu) now....

I emailed him the riot act the other day about the senate part the other day. Let's see where he come out now.

If you're from NH, please get on the horn, or email him.

Washington, D.C. - This week, the U.S. House of Representatives debated H.Con.Res.63, a resolution disapproving of the president’s decision to deploy 21,500 U.S. combat troops to Iraq. H.Con.Res 63 passed the House floor today, with a bipartisan majority, by a vote of 246 to 182. In response, U.S. Rep. Phil English (R-Pa.) released the following statement:

“I supported the resolution because it is consistent with my support of the troops and my belief that the planned surge is not the best approach for our nation or those troops in the field.

“While I voted for today’s resolution - narrow and inadequate as it is; I cannot help but express my frustration that the Democratic Leadership has squandered a unique opportunity to allow a full and fair debate to on the challenges we face in Iraq.

“By making it impossible for rank and file members to offer alternatives or amendments to the Iraq resolution, the Democratic Leadership stripped members of both parties, of their right to participate and prevented the House from working its will.

“Washington should be working to unite, not divide our country. The new majority’s decision to stifle the voices of Republicans and Democrats alike has done nothing except unnecessarily politicize the war.

“The right way forward is to allow a thoughtful and serious debate that encompasses alternative recommendations from both sides of the aisle. Sadly, this week that debate was shut down by politics.”

I have always admired English's support of US small manufacturers, but I can not understand what prompted this guy to align himself with a clear and undermining effort and vendetta aimed at GWB. Maybe John Murtha might explain.
Politics is disgusting me!

In most cases, you'll have to call because unless you reside in the district of the representative, you cannot send an e-mail to him.

Allow me to rant for a moment: The decisions made by representatives and senators in Washington affect the entire nation. Not allowing citizens to contact all members of Congress is a travesty. Some reps and senators will take email messages from those outside their district/state, but most don't. A pet peeve of mine.

...and if by a snowballs chance he should win the primaries I will not vote.

Go ahead and vote without concern for if the Ron Paul "snowball" was on the peak of Kilimanjaro and snowballing down at light speed with his name all over it, it STILL wouldn't be big enough to get him through the primaries.

They were probably just reflecting the sentiments of their constituencies. Whether Freepers like it or not, we turned the corner on public opinion and the war in Iraq.

More Americans than not are against the war and have no confidence in Dubya to wage an effective war. And their side has the momentum.

Sorry to be blunt but Dubya and the GOP fell on their @ss on this one.

Traitor because they wish to for whatever reasons stay very ill informed.
Many of these people in both the HR and Senate really do appear not capable of making sound judgments about anything important. Let alone things critical to national defense and foreign policy. I wonder if any of these people have any of their staff following closely what goes on in Iraq.
And for those that go over on junkets, they come back mostly with still not a clue.
Then again. Lets face it. Some of our military leaders have come out with some pretty stupid statements that end up misleading people.

And to think Ron Paul is running for the presidential in the Republican party. He's a total disgrace.

When I emailed the other new dem congessperson from NH last night, I got a message saying she was sorry, but couldn't respond since I was not in her district. I'm unsure whether the message still goes to her or not.

More Americans than not are against a sudden withdrawl.

Americans by and large want to see progress. The MSM keeps them from seeing good news, and they are left with the illusion that the whole country is in shambles.

How much reporting have you seen over the last few days that mention all the calls by dems for more troops, when the president was listening to the generals that said they did not want anymore? Now that he has a new man that wants a surge into Baghdad they are all suddenly for staying the course, but no one is calling them on it.

I think it time for " All Good men to come to the aid of their Country."

The time for TALKING over the wires (as they say) and for writing letters is over.

The time has past for calling the Congressional "Represenatives of the PEOPLE"- to ONLY get "your views PASSED ON to the Congressman/woman ...yada..yada..yada..but THANK YOU for Calling!,..."

The time has COME for "Personnal VISITS; a representive of a " Few Good Men; a Few Good Americans" to PHYSICALLY
"Show UP" at the Front DOORS of these So-Called " ...but "I" SUPPORT the TROOPS!..but Not the MISSION " TRAITORS.

They THINK that ALL they have to worry about is getting Re-Elected? Let's get a Few Good men to go face to face with them- in their home towns- in THEIR "Back yards" and show up to tell them;

"..You LIKE "Voting" to show Our enemies your are FOR THEM?"

"..You LIKE to show our Troops just how QUICK your support the Terrorists and DUMP them?"

"...You want to ensure a SURGE in TERRORISTS in Iraq? Satified that with people like the DEMS in POWER- They have nothing to fear?--that AMERICA will FOLD- and those destabilizingthe ENTIRE MidEast?.."

A Few good men would tell these traitors- we are NOT leaving YOUR TOWN until we have canvased EVERY VOTER and ENSURE that Your Traitorous Beliefs are KNOWN ALL OVER! and that WE WILL WORK to Ensure that- You are VOTED OUT as quick as you should be.

We THOUGHT we ALL were "voting" for a "Few good men" when we elected these traitors-

Let's ALL Correct this problem NOW.

Darth Airborne

My email/letter to my Rep

Dear 'Honorable' John Duncan,
In the 2006 Mid Term elections, there were many issues driving Americans to vote for their new Representatives.

Chief amongst them, was the desire NOT to see a Speaker Pelosi, Democrat (Socialist-Communist) control of the House and/or Senate and a general support of the efforts in Iraq/Afghanistan. While we did lose that effort in general, I was sincerely pleased to see you and a Republican Senator return to DC, I felt Tennessee had done her job in the attempt to hold the traitors at bay. And yet, now, you stand amongst them.

I certainly did NOT cast my vote for a Republican (Conservative????) to stand with the "Cut and RUN", "America is the Bad Guy", "Retreat (I mean Redeploy) crowd of LOSERS that the Democrats are.

You recently voted in support of the non-binding resolution against the Iraq war effort.

Will you be happier when we are fighting this 'religion' (CULT?) here in America? Are you REALLY sure you thought it was correct to cast your vote the same as Traitor Murtha?

Mr Duncan, there is no Honor in voting with a Socialist, at any time, for any reason.

Your humble Employer, Robert Koontz
