Jewelry may hide a secret message about some child molestors.

Some pedophiles are wearing symbols of their sexual attraction to kids as part of a bigger movement to justify who they are and what they want.

Pendants in the shape of a heart, for young girls, or a triangle, for young boys, are being worn by some pedophiles to show their preference as part of a pro-pedophile movment.

They want people to believe they are not monsters, but people with natural sexual feelings toward children.

“I think they believe they are coming out the way gays did many years ago,” said Dr. Barry Maletsky.

Maletsky has treated sex offenders in Portland for many years. He said he believed some pedophiles may be using the symbols and Internet to promote their struggle for acceptance.

“I don’t know of any evidence that consenting homosexual relationships create a victim. We have plenty of evidence that adult-child sexual relationships create victims,” said Maletsky.

Some of the pedophiles online write that the kids they molest want it and enjoy it and that adult-child sex does not hurt anyone.

Maletsky said studies show the pedophiles are wrong.

“In our view, the evidence is just the opposite. They are hurting kids, some badly,” said Maletsky.

The fact that someone would wear a symbol and be proud of having sex with a child made several parents angry.

Some parents will never accept pedophiles in the mainstream. However, some said the idea of a symbol is helpful, marking someone who may be a danger to kids.

It’s important to note that not everyone wearing these symbols would be pedophiles. Anyone could wear one and not know what they mean to some people.

My kid's school had a problem with some students and their "Myspace.com" activity. Letters were sent to the parents that an FBI special agent would have a seminar last night regarding the FBI's Innocent Images Task Force with special emphasis on "Parent's Guide to Internet Safety Workshop and MySpace.com Safety Workshop. I attended this seminar which was for "Parents Only". One of the websites the special agent recommended we visit to learn about pedophiles was the opposite of NAMBLA... it was not "man/boy", but "man/girl". We were told we would not be put on a "watch list" to visit this site and to specifically pay attention to the logos and symbols the pedos are starting to use to identify each other in public. As I have no desire to publish the web site, I have captured the image of the logos and hosted them. This is for real and if you are a parent, you should study these images to identify potential threats to our children.
