Just think how much energy could be conserved if they didn't even have an Oscar ceremony or all those other useless awards ceremonies every year, and that includes all the wasteful parties. Announce the winners online and mail out the awards - can't get more green than that.

I hate to say it, but I have enjoyed watching Living with Ed on HGTV. He is very sincere in his efforts.

I've got a 100 y.o. 2500 sq. ft. house in northers Ohio. My gas bill average is around $200 a month. It's a worm spell at 34 right now. My electric averages 800 kWh a month. The funace motor has been running a lot this month. Several below zero days in there.

It sounds like algore is heating and lighting a shopping mall.

I used 6800 KW last year total. Solar water and solar heated pool.

These idiots are of the "do as I say" genre.

"It's not a political issue, it's a moral issue.

The left suddenly finds morality? What a joke.

Anyway, didn't the Washington Post tell us that Al Whore is carbon neutral.

Now we learn the inconvenient truth that Al Whore is a grade A hypocrite.

I'm stunned. Oh by the way all you leftists, don't force your morality on me.

Don't matter. Energy is not unlimited regardless of the source. Lately envirowackos have been blocking the hydroelectic projects because it dams up pristine waterways and endangers the snail darter.

Does anyone remember when the Gore campaign had water released from a Connecticut River Dam in order that Big Al and Tipper could go canoeing? Big time photo op. This was in the summer of 99 and there was some drought conditions in New England as I recall--does anyone else remember this?

"purchasing verifiable reductions in CO2 elsewhere."

And furthermore, how can this be a world destroying crisis when all one needs to do is buy their way out of global warming.

That right folks, taxes and carbon trading and utopia is yours and the planet is saved.

For just $5 a day in taxation and carbon trading climate change is SOLVED!!!!!!!

He is really taking on a mannequin appearance. What is that? Plastic surgery?

I don't know; I think it's too many facials. But maybe he did have facial surgery and had some fatty jowels removed; his skin does have that shiny look.

a worm spell

The worm spell is bad enough. I keep sliding all over the place on the darn things. It's much better when it's below freezing. They stick to the ground and give pretty good traction.

It's great to point out their hypocrisy but doing so adds an air of legitimacy to their crackpot claims. We're saying, "look at how much energy he uses - that's bad". But is it really? I think not.
