FreeRepublic Policy Statement
FrreRepublic ^ | Unknown | Jim Robinson

Posted on 03/03/2007 5:38:03 PM PST by ZULU

"Therefore, we wholeheartedly support the Bush Doctrine of pre-emptive strikes on known terrorist states and organizations that are believed to present a clear threat to our freedom or national security. We support our military, our troops and our Commander-in-Chief and we oppose turning control of our government back over to the liberals and socialists who favor appeasement, weakness, and subserviency. We do not believe in surrendering to the terrorists as France, Germany, Russia and Spain have done and as Kerry, Kennedy, Clinton and the Democrats, et al, are proposing.

As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty. "

And by the way, it's impossible not to note that you are popular today among the Rudybots due to your tagline.

That's very telling.

But if push came to shove... and the choice was Rudy or Hillary. Guess who you would vote for. And as it appears, that is where this is going.

It's only 'where this is going' if you let it. Why are you insisting that the choice this early in the process is Rudy vs. Hillary? If there's going to be pushing and shoving, why not push/shove the GOP back to the right where it belongs and put forward a candidate with Conservative values?

Oh, I know. It's not cool to stand up for principles. Rudy's cool, man. He could get elected by Dims and Pubs, but only because he's willing to compromise, not because he explicitly states where he stands, like, say, Ronald Reagan did...even though he can indeed be quite eloquent.

Are you ashamed of what you believe is right? Then jump on the bandwagon with Rudy and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Liberals and RINOs who are afraid as well. You can just relax and let your spine go all jellyfish because everyone else will be proudly 'multi-partisan' right there with you.

Good evening.
"Why don't you spend your time bashing Hillary?"

Just think, if either them, the Hildebeast or Rudi gets in the White House you will likely not be able to own what you have named yourself after without risking time in prison.

Hillary is an honest tyrant who tells us what evil plans she has for us, but Rudi professes to be on our side.

I couldn't agree more. It's actually disgusting to see so many compromise their principles.

As the Gipper so eloquently stated,

"So, it was our Republican Party that gave me a political home. When I signed up for duty, I didn't have to check my principles at the door. And I soon found out that the desire for victory did not overcome our devotion to ideals".
--Ronald Reagan remarks at the Republican National Convention in New Orleans, August 15, 1988.

Many Rudy apologists will have to 'check their ideals' to get him elected. Many others of us would never do that.

I just fully made up my mind today to support Rudy, because of this website, I'm tired of seeing all the negativity towards him. I don't think he deserves it.

Rudy won't cut taxes. He'll take away you .50 cal, and has even uglier legs in drag than Hillary.

Vote Hunter. You know you want to...

UPS, you have to read between the lines with these people. Sort of like when Rudy says that he will appoint strict constitutionalist judges, but ooops...he belives that abortion is a constitutional right. Or that the democrats he has already placed in the judiciary outnumber republicans 8-to-1.

How can Rudy be pro-abortion and pro God?

Very simply. For example, we're all assuming Rudy is a Catholic, but Rudy might well be a follower of Moloch. Or he may just be Catholic like Kennedy is Catholic. Or pro gun control and be pro bill of rights

Well, 9 of 10 isn't bad, eh? /sarc pro constitution, pro defense, pro freedom or even pro american?

He's pro the constitution as he sees it. He's pro license, not pro-freedom (except when it comes to guns, he's quite against licensing them...but sodomy, he's fine with). Pro American? Well, in the broader sense you understand. He has the same open borders policy that Bush has had, which is why monied business interests are contributing heavily to his campaign. He's pro "north american".

but I would like to keep the discussion going on a level somewhere above Giuliani having done some appearances in drag, or Romney being a Mormon, and on and on.

Exactly!

I like Rudy, he's on our side...

Really?

Well, he's very anti-gun and thinks that no one, NO ONE needs to be in possession of the item that you use as your screen name.

He also thinks that I should have a license similiar to a drivers license in order to possess a gun and in fact doubts that I even need a gun and would take it away in a heartbeat.

He advocates murder of the unborn.

He sees little problem with extracting a fetus partway down the birth canal, piercing the head with a sharp instrument and then sucking the brain out.

He thinks the gay lifestyle is okay.

He took up residence with two of them while hiding from the media during his well-publicized tete-a-tete with his mistress and wife in the Governors Mansion.

He has little regard for the marital unit, having conducted an affair with another woman while still wed.

I can go on, but that's just the highlights and they are guaranteed to pull the Rooty-lovers out of the woodwork, in a pitiful attempt to make a conservative out of a dyed-in-the-wool liberal.

Now, his personal life, I can probably overlook.

But his anti-gun and abortion on demand views just purely suck.

Rooty ain't no conservative; I don't care how he feels about the terrorists.

If he leaves me the hell alone and gives up his gun-grabbing and abortion on demand ways, then I'll defend myself and there'll be enough future generations to defend themselves against the "terrorists".

Rooty yells "Boo, there's a terrorist behind the desk!", and everybody starts in about what a great POTUS he'd make.

So, I'll bash away.

Oh, yeah, Hillary?...she sucks too, but we all know that anyway.

Got anybody else you need bashed?
