One of Longview's best-known gadflies has found another way to stick it to the government over the blurred lines between church and state.
Larry Wagle, 71, announced at the Longview City Council meeting Thursday that he's invented "the genuine Wagle secularizer" to remove the word "God" from the edges of newly minted U.S. dollar coins. Those who send $25 plus shipping to Wagle will receive a secularizer of their own, he said gleefully.
When Mayor Dennis Weber remarked that it's illegal to deface currency, Wagle shot back that Congress defaced the coins, not him.

Hello Infidels. Checking in here from Indianapolis. Listening on FM 93.9... The radio station WXNT 1430 AM took Savage off and replaced him with Glenn Beck. Well, I like Beck but not at 6:00 PM when he is on the TV.
Anyone remember an older Italian lady calling the show on 3/8 (most likely 3/8, even though she said it might be 3/7, but she's fairly certain that it was 3/8) and talking to Savage about Sicily or the Mafia? That was my Mom calling from New Hampshire. Anyone know how I can go about and download the show for that day? Thanks.
