Correct me if I'm wrong, but the military won't even accept 'drop outs' any longer and you have to get a special waiver if you have only a GED.. Most of the left has no idea what the modern military is like.. I wonder if they think we still stand line to line with the enemy and swing swords?

The men drafted in WWII were products of the Great Depression. They were largely poor, under-educated and poorly nourished. Many were rejected for service because of disease or, most commonly, poor dental health. My father joined the service in 1940 at age 20. He was 6 feet tall and 120lbs.
I have. I think they just take these old fools, give them the right meds and prop them up. He doesn't have a clue - not only about what he's saying, but that he's saying anything at all. He's kept on because he looks - and is - old and that somehow makes some people believe he's somehow smarter.
