Checking interest in the financial markets and investments ping list at Free Republic. While many folks often discuss various economy and financial news here, there doesn't seem to be a ping list (per my recent search).
Being an active participant in the markets and Free Republic, as well as very interested and delighted in discussing/debating the above with others, I volunteer to maintain a new Financial Markets, Economy and Investments ping list, where all the Boeing vs Airbus, capitalism vs socialism, DOW up 250pts, DOW down 416pts, and various other market-related items (such as, equities derivatives, naked short selling, corporate corruption, imploding companies, insider trading and other arcane but exciting things) will be posted and discussed as I encouter them during my daily toil in the dog-eat-dog/milkbone underwear world of the financial markets.

I've often felt that discussion of various seemingly arcane markets/investment topics would be of great benefit here at Free Republic, if nothing else, making more conservatives far better investors and participants in the free markets we're blessed with. It is time I finally did something about it.

You can expect equities derivatives (options), ForEx (foreign exchange) speculation and other similar news topics on this ping list. Should I add you to the list ?
Please do add me to the Trend Trading tho - I seem to have missed it in my initial search. I think Finances/Financial markets should have their own header in the ping list directory. It's such an important every day concept it is surprising that there hasn't been a number of specialized ping lists already created.

I think you can start the ping list with a few people, then it will grow.
You may want to come up with a good keyword, so those not on the list yet or even those on the list, who want to see all articles at once, can search.
"businessping"? Or something more exciting sounding, if you can think of something?
