FBI: Extremists Signing Up to Be School Bus Drivers

WASHINGTON — Members of extremist groups have signed up as school bus drivers in the United States, counterterror officials said Friday, in a cautionary bulletin to police. An FBI spokesman said "parents and children have nothing to fear."

Asked about the alert notice, the FBI's Rich Kolko said "there are no threats, no plots and no history leading us to believe there is any reason for concern," although law enforcement agencies around the country were asked to watch out for kids' safety.

They are signing up. . .are they being hired? If so. . .then we better sing. . .pray. . .scream; louder and better than the flying Imams.

Our daughter was driven to school one day by someone who had to stop at a gas station (or was it Target?) to get a map to the school. I'm not sure why she couldn't have asked one of the students, but she made them two hours late. It was the second to last straw for us regarding this daughter attending the particular school. And this bus driver actually spoke English. Unlike the three or four others who had driven the route during those first two weeks of school.

FBI spokesman said "parents and children have nothing to fear." Now there's actual proof that the FBI (Fumbling Bumbling Idiots) might actually be just STUPID!
The FBI sure seemed all determined to get that domestic terrorist Scooter Libby...they couldn't lie enough to get that conviction...what a bunch of crap is the FBI. They are as inept as the CIA & State depts!

Evidently these would-be terrorists have not ridden on an inner-city, public-school bus lately.

My bet is the terrorists will be dead long before the kids.

An act of terror like that would result in muslims being shot on sight. There was enough trouble restraining people after 9/11, but going after kids? Only a muzzie would stoop that low and THEY'D better be ready for their families and acquaintances (presuming the terrorists aren't still alive) to pay the price and pay dearly.

In my estimation, the scenario that you've imagined here is completely plausible. Were I a young person having school age children, I would be searching Heaven and Hell to find a way to get them to school while keeping them off the school bus.

And, by the way, some of my neighbors transport their children to school by automobile. "Granny" usually fills the bill of "private school bus driver." It has nothing to do with Muslims, of course, but everything to do with keeping them out of harms way - that harm being disfunctional, disruptive and dangerous children.

Sounds like another inability to connect the dots

They probably have the dots connected. It's the "warning" they can't voice, so they release this incomprehensible idiotic statement, hoping we will connect the dots and do something about it.

They can't. They would be individually hounded and sued all the way to the poorhouse by CAIR and the ACLU. It's not worth risking their paychecks and careers for speaking the truth in today's political climate.

...(have you checked who has the subpoena power in the Congress lately, and is perfectly willing to use it?)

Idiotic bureaucrats will get our children killed.

We need a federal law right now that mandates school bus drivers to be citizens. The question is, are there actually school districts in the US that hire foreign nationals (extremist or not) to transport our children? If so, this would be criminal negligence on their part considering our state of war. Someone please say it ain't so.

"some school districts have reported an increased number of foreign nationals seeking school bus driver positions and a number of other unusual events."

I can just about bet some of those districts are here in Mpls. I am so glad my grandchildren do not step foot on a school bus. I pray for the ones who do.

And I sure would like to know what those "number of other unusual events" are. I guess they're just other things we shouldn't worry about. :(

"I hate to characterize this as a warning," Kolko said, calling it an "informational bulletin." He said this was part of routine information sent to local law enforcement agencies that they should use only as background information while doing their normal duties.

"This is just an awareness issue for local law enforcement. ... It just makes them smarter," he said.

Bangs head on desk. Good thing that the Second Amendment stuff is coming to the forefront with folks like this protecting us.

Riiiiight!! That's NOT comforting to them at all. IF they're so harmless, why is the FBI telling us that they're "extremists?" Why the heck are they even living in America?

My greatest fear is that they are going to pull off one or more attacks on our schools like they did in Beslin, Russia! God help us if they do! NOTHING in this world could be worse than that happening here in America!

Our Leaders and US Government Officials know damn good an well our children in schools are at great risk.. The Republi-Cons are just stupid the Demon-Crats are praying for a massacre to blame and ban firearms The Islamofacist human sacks of crap who murdered the children in Beslyn proved what kind of animals they are. It is arrogance that has prevented the US Government from hiring every retired peace officer they can get their hands on to secure the schools..malls and alike. The same is true for other infrastructre..There are thousands of reitred GIs whose skill sets are well suited to securing secondary and teritiary terrorist targets.. Again it is arrogance that will not send those retired GIs armed into the forrests, along places like Hover Dam and the Power Grid to defend the American People and our country.

There are many reasons to homeschool, but having your children murdered by radical Islamic scum is by far the most.

If this is true, than homeschooling is not only practical, but patriotic.

I guess the fact that Muslim cab drivers in the majority at many of our airports - is another potential threat we needn't worry about, Huh?

When, not if - but WHEN the SHTF again, the American people will not be as docile or willing to let the Government alone address the enemy... I'll bet it's going to become a LOT more personal...

I predict widespread and often misdirected vigilante action after the next major attack...

The myth of "moderate Muslims" will no longer provide cover to the innocent...

Just as not being an active enemy, didn't protect the "innocent" women and children in Dresden or Hiroshima and dozens of other cities.....

ALREADY there is more justification to incarcerate Muslims than there was to round up and incarcerate the Japanese...

Be very careful screening our bus drivers.

That's why we have background checks especially if they belong to a radical mosque preaching a religion of hate and death...end of employement.

There's no free speech there. The Death Cult are just using our liberties to kill innocents.

Hell with them.

Anything happen to my kids, my grandkids or my neighborhood kids...hell will be paid by my communtiy.

You bet!

Middle Schoolers act terrible on the bus. They curse like old saliors, kick like mules and don't listen to anyone in authority.

Being a School Bus Driver is worst than being in Gitmo. Imagine a Jihadist trying to win over the kids. The kids are in gangs, listen to their awful music and the girls look like sl@ts. As soon he starts telling the kids to put their IPods and cell phones away ...they will beat him up!

The ones who stay with the district lose their hearing from all the screaming.

As I recall before 9/11 there was no history of anyone flying planes into buildings either.

More to the point, I don't believe that there was a history of what happened in Beslan either... Unless you count the repeated attacks by terrorists on schools and children in Israel during the 1970s.
