Wonderful report. Thanks.
Never, ever take me off your ping list! :-)
I wouldn't worry too much what the FN Germans think. The way the muzzies are taking over the Fatherland, it will soon be Allaland.
Great Post Interesting Times. Thank you !!!!
In this particular instance, the vets were self-restrained, but they did take his sign and grind it with their feet. They blocked his way to the Wall and the commie tried to push his way past them. After about one or two minutes, a cop came over and made the vets allow the commie to pass because he didn't have a sign. (lol....not anymore, anyway) The vets complied without a problem.
At no time did the vets mistreat or manhandle the commie. They just let him know their opinions. It was a beautiful sight.
If any other Freepers were there, the commie was a very young guy with a green shirt and a dark city-boy coat. I was the woman wearing the Navy sweatshirt standing next to the scuffle and one of them stepped on my foot, lol.
I-T, thank you for the post.
Excellent narrative. It answered several of my questions about the organized effort. Thanks for posting this account.
Did you know your "Traitors" sign made the NY Slimes?
Thanks for the account, and thanks for being there! Sorry I couldn't make it this time .............. FRegards
Thank you for posting Del Vecchio's first-hand account of the Gathering of Eagles 2007. And thanks to Del Vecchio and all the other organizers who made this event so meaningful.
It was a great day to support our troops, honor past servicemen and servicewomen, protect our sacred monuments and speak out for freedom.
Outstanding!!!
God Bless
I saw the MOAB (Mother Of All Banners) was quoted in The Old Grey Lady. Our location was particularly strategic because the banner blocked the moonbat's view of Arlington Cemetery. You can just make out Robert E. Lee's home on the hill above Nick Danger's left hand in the 2nd photo. Dang, I wish we had hooked up with you Saturday.
Several things:
1. Park Police estimated 30,000 vets (and others).
2. Park Police estimated 8,000 of the moonbats.
3. Michelle Maulkin's website is LOADED with other Vets who chimed in with great pictures and stories to tell of their weekend adventure. There's even some interesting moonbat pictures.
My congratulations to all those who participated in any way in this event. It moved me to tears several times, and I've written several stinging emails to members of the media for ignoring those who "love" America and focusing on those who "hate" America. I just wanted them to know - we noticed - and their claim of being un-biased was shattered yesterday.
And .. if the group of moonbats who showed up yesterday is the example of what the democrats believe is America .. the dems have blinders on - on purpose.
That it was...

bttt!
ping - great post
Ping to an interesting read.
I made the MOAB for a Freep of the lefties a couple of years ago when they had a Memorial Day protest and coffin march at Arlington National Cemetery. They didn't like seeing it then, either.
The DC Chapter is green - we recycle our MOABs.
Well, now that you've made sure to take credit for the sign, what did you think of Del's report?
