Well, it's good he could be a leader in a world where he isn't under press scrutiny all day but none of the top 3 GOP candidates have shown any actual leadership thus far.
He doesn't have any property in Michigan anymore ?
He may in Jackson, but he is now a resident of Texas, not too far from the Bush ranch.
This Rudy supporter thanks both of you for your approach on the nomination and your civility. I know many of us Rudy supporters have cut back on our post just because we can't handle all the vile, rude post directed toward us. I'm sure we'll pick it back up when the time is right. Besides, the other side is doing a great job of turning other Freepers against them right now.
LOL ! yeah , the other Freepers are chomping at the bit to support a Socially Liberal Republican . The movement is growing , and at this rate, I might renounce the Second Amendment and join along ....
Yeah, it's frustrating when I go back home, and reconnect with friends from my MI hometown between Flint and Detroit.
They tell me that high taxes are fine, because California appears to be doing well with a strangling tax system. I try to explain that there are a lot of other factors going on (mainly the insane suspension of sanity that is the Silicon Valley), but to no avail....

No problem and it's my pleasure. I always have to wonder how many of the vicious keyboard warriors would post the same vile stuff they gleefully post if they had to use their true names so that their families, friends, neighbors, co-workers and the whole of the world wide web could see them like we're seeing them.
One of our GOP candidates will be all that's standing between the democrat nominee and the White House. I'm not about to help the democrats trash our evential nominee.
Debating issues is one thing --- but that's not the complaint that many of us have here.

If some of the posters on here had to use their real IDs this place would be a much more pleasant place. And the posts aren't the worst. Some of the Freep mail I've received is much worse.
I will certainly vote for whoever the eventual nominee is and every Rudy supporter I know of has the same position. And I personally do not go on threads about other GOP candidates, other than recently Fred Thompson threads because I'm intrigued to know what's he going to do and I like him. He's my number two choice behind Rudy if he runs. But I have no reason to go on any other candidate's threads. I'm not going to and don't want to bash them, I respect them all.

I was depressed about the field, then undecided, then learned enough about Romney's stellar background to post positive things about him ... then got labelled a Romneybot even though I'm still undecided (I mean, seriously, it's 11 months away, do we have to know *now* who we will vote for???) ...
I conclude that the shill/'bot charge is just empty meaningless invective that shouldnt be used around here. We ALL have opinions, that is why we are here to express them!

If you want to peruse FR polls, it will show you that Rudy has hundreds of supporters here.
