This company claims it will fly a prototype in 2008 and begin production in 2009. Interesting idea, anyway.

Since I build briges, I hope this doesn't happen. WHo needs a bridge if you can fly over the water?

Briges? We don't need no stinking briges. Now BRIDGES, those we can use.

Since I build briges, I hope this doesn't happen. Who needs a bridge if you can fly over the water?Cars may fly, but to carry bulk goods, you will still need trucks and trains, which will require bridges for some time to come.

I hope the pilot licencing standards are maintained.Just don't sell these to anyone with the money in hand or we will all need Willie Coyote's steel umbrella.

I bet they would be very expensive. Of course, after a while they would probably keep cheaper with mass production. I would love to have one. You could fly yourself across country in a day.

I almost get run over by folks on the road today, and now I'm supposed to be joyful that these same morons are going to be flying over my house? It'll be seconds before the FAA relaxes the rules for pilots.

It's a cute looking folding airplane, but I still wouldn't call it a "flying car".

Oh goody, now instead of having to worry about the occasional airplane crashing into your house we will have millions of idiots flying around your house and possibly through your living room window. Great for terrorists too since it is much easier to get an air car than an airplane think of all the fun we will have.
