Dismissal of U.S. Attorneys
Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) chairs a Judiciary Cmte. hearing on the hiring and firing of U.S. Attorneys. D. Kyle Sampson, the former chief of staff to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, appears and is expected to testify that he did nothing wrong in coordinating the firing of eight U.S. Attorneys.

Sampson is GONE...he is on HIS side.
He says the firings were properly made but mistakenly handled
Now he's talking about first coming to DC
Leahy cuts off Sampson .. Leahy announces he is leaving to go vote
Chairman leaves for a Senate roll call vote on military funding.
He sure sounds like he is gonna suck up as much as is necessary to get HIMSELF off the hook...
Somehow I doubt he will be TOO worried about Gonzo or the POTUS.

I listen to CNBC at work. A MSNBC update on the hearings ended with this quote: "lawmakers from both parties have called on Gonzalez' to resign..." Please FOX start a business channel!!

I knew it would be bad after the elections, but I fell way short in realizing just how bad.
Nobody .... all but one of the Senators left the room
I think Fox is....with Neil Cavuto.
