NEW YORK - A CBS News producer was fired and the network apologized after a Katie Couric video essay on libraries was found to be plagiarized from The Wall Street Journal.
The essay was removed from the CBS Web site and an editors note was posted saying the item should have credited Jeffrey Zaslow of the Journal, the network said Tuesday.

How the hell could they not know they’d get caught? I know they’re evil, but I didn’t think they were that stupid.

LOL. Now we know why leftists think all news organizations are biased to the right. They get their best stuff from the WSJ evidently.

CBS News Producer Fired For Plagiarism;Couric video essay was copied from The Wall Street JournalOh, come on now!!! CBS won't fire their "news" people for making up stories, lying, being obsessively liberal, and showing their hatred of conservatives in each story but they will fire for illegal copying? This must be a "token" firing.

“We were horrified, CBS News spokeswoman Sandra Genelius said. It was almost verbatim.
CBS would not identify the producer fired for the transgression.”
Why not? None of my business?
