Notwithstanding their primitive, virtually IQ-free brains, these creatures continue to outsmart humans on a pretty regular basis. Common sense would seem to dictate using a dart, when anesthetizing a huge beast with an impressive rack of teeth and a well-earned reputation for dealing with humans as snacks.

That video is a good example of it. Yep. Now he has a stupid looking thumb to match.
I thought it was a pretty good idea how they cut off one of his toes and made a thumb out of it.
