Translation: How in the world does the American government expect to control it’s subjects if they continue to allow them to be armed?
I think the problem is too many foreigners in the U.S. Notice the last two big shootings involved foreign nationals, first the Bosnia Muzzie in the Salt Lake City shooting. Now this. Seems to me the problem isn’t guns, but nutty foreigners.
Since we’re talking about the rest of the world, I’ll give them my answer in ancient Greek: MOLON LABE!! [Come and take them!]
300 Spartans under King Leonidas I killed about 20,000 Persians who were trying to disarm them...and I think that 80,000,000 armed Americans can do quite a bit more.
Let the foreigners know that from our gun culture comes our fighting men and spirit - which has saved them from their own isms several times in the last century.

They think they did (wink, wink)...but it still doesn’t matter. I, and most of my gun owning friends and acquaintances don’t give a tinker’s damn what the rest of the world thinks. I’ve seen ridiculous ‘statistics’ thrown around all night and all day since this tragedy...everything from the US having the highest murder rate (not just firearm murders, though) to the US being the largest producer of small arms in the world.
And all of this bovine excrement misses the point by a wide, wide margin.
The founding fathers recognized that the only protection available to the populace is that which they themselves can provide, whether it be protection from personal harm or protection from an encroaching government. In order to preserve the ability of that populace to protect themselves, they included the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights.
The right (correct) thinking folks among us still, to this day, believe in the necessity of that amendment. We recognize that, without it, we would all be in serious doody.
So...Let’s simply tell the rest of the world to buzz off, keep their socialist observations to themselves, and don’t call us the next time the solid waste hits their rotating air movement device...
