Sorry I wasn't here, but it's half-price weekend at the ballpark, and the Astros are in town. I took advantage of that to hit the club level (normally $36 tickets, same level as most of the luxury boxes, complete with seat-side waitstaff service and some food that isn't found anywhere else in the stadium). Unfortunately, 41,000 or so of my closest friends also showed up, so the parking lots all filled up. I eventually found a place to park close to a mile out (heck, about as close as the farthest $8 spot) and walked some ex-railroad right of way in.
The game went about as the race; close all the way until the 9th, when the Astros turned a bases-loaded nobody-out situation into a grand slam, and the Brew Crew almost came all the way back.
Finally dug the laptop back out of the luggage and got the computers talking to each other. I'll have a couple choice pics of Wednesday, when I gained a brother-in-law, shortly.

What was the weather like at the stadium? It’s too cool here even in summer when the fog rolls in in the evenings...

What was the weather like at the stadium? Its too cool here even in summer when the fog rolls in in the evenings... The roof was closed even though it was in the upper 50s and clear as a bell. Of course, the fact that they botched the repair of the bogeys that power the roof has something to do with that as well.

Thanks. Forgot to ask him about NASCAR, but he does play cribbage at Jimmy Fennig's old haunt (BB Rubble's).
