Corzine has a lot of fault for his injuries but this state trooper was involved in a couple other accidents.

Can't figure out why they picked him for a driver.

See...stuff is just leaking out.

I think that the fact that of all of the people in the car, Corzine is the only one injured badly....it goes more to his inactions.

NOW, if this driver has a bad driving record..then we need to see if Corzine was aware of that, also...

Did Corzine tell him to drive too fast??

Great question you have, mware...if this guy has a bad driving record...why was he still driving as a JOB??

What guy? That hit Corzine? Could it be that Corzine’s vehicle CAUSED THE CRASH!!!

We learn (or should) as kids that no one can make you do anything. The driver is responsible. Give the governor a ticket for no seat belt but that is all he is responsible for, whether you like him or not.

Yeah, but it sounds like they’re setting this trooper up to be the fall guy. They’re phrasing it as “well, the trooper didn’t MAKE Corzine wear a seat belt.” So, do you really think that a state trooper who’s gotten promoted up to guarding the Governor is going to turn around and tell that self-same Governor, “sorry, sir, I’m not moving until you put on that belt?” He’d be scrubbing toilets at the Howard Stern Rest Area before you could say “dingdingding.”

Now I’m wondering if that trooper driver was some sort of patronage hire—y’know, “you give my idiot cousin a cushy job in Trenton and I’ll deliver you some votes,” that sort of thing. Was the trooper even qualified? Had he taken any sort of training in evasive driving with a big, ill-handling three-quarter-ton Suburban instead of a Crown Vic interceptor?

The driver doesn’t sound very bright - dating a married woman whose husband is known to carry a gun.

In addition I doubt the police officer was doing 90+ mph absent prodding from the ‘Gov. >>

From what i’ve read, the SUV was equipped with a “black box” similar to those used in planes.

Wonderful animation...it pretty much looks like the red pickup just did not know what was going to behind him..

I saw a pic of the woman who was supposedly in the back seat a few days ago on FR. Middle aged black lady. Some people on FR are saying that the Governor was NOT in the front seat with his seat belt off, but in the mid seat without his seat belt and how else could he end up in the far back of the SUV? Who knows the truth. but the lady I saw would not be one I would think would be Jon Corzine’s dream girl. Maybe he’s so hard up that whatever’s in his presence will do...However I think that whether he was in the front seat or the back, he was telling the driver to speed because he was late for his glamour appearance with Imus.

Interestinger and interestinger

This is the first report that I have read or seen that Corzine "ended up in the back" with the female aide. Exactly whose word do we have besides the trooper and the "aide" that he was in the front seat at any time, and not in the back seat, unbelted, doing whatever...

I'm sure that the trooper and "aide" would certainly verify the claim that Corzine was in the front seat, just like Billy Jeff's troopers claimed that he wasn't ever in any hotel room with any of those females, and certainly didn't ever "rape" anyone. After all, who would you believe, an upstanding State Trooper on the Guv's payroll or your lying eyes??

Just thinking...

I hadn’t read your comment when I posted mine, but we get nothing but lies, halftruths, lies and more lies from politicians and their MSM facilitators on just about anything, so there is hardly anything anyone can think other than the worst— which oftentimes ends up as closer to the reality than the lies and coverups by the pols/MSM/Libs after some time and investigation has passed.

Corzine probably wasn’t in the back, unbuckled, and doing things with the aide, but the first story was the red pickup caused the accident, then different versions started coming out.

What can anyone reasonably be expected to think, what with the history of the Swimmer, Mayor Berry, W. Jefferson... and of course, William Jefferson “Bent Willie” Clintoon... and the list just goes on.

yea, he was a human projectile. I guess once he hit the guard rail he went flying towards the cargo hold. the trooper had his seat belt on. previous newspaper articles stated that corzine liked to sit in the front seat while some other NJ governors liked to sit in the back. some governors used to talk with the troopers on their detail while others did not. the articles further stated that 2 cars usually were in the caravan, the other car had more aides and first aid equipment.

(My take on the incident) I think the other guy that ‘hit’ him was trying to get out of the way of the 91 mph vehicle that was bearing down on him... and found that the lane to his right had a vehicle in it that he didn’t notice. He is unable to complete the lane change and begins to move back but Corzine’s driver thinks there is enough room to rocket by on the left. (I wonder how fast the rest of traffic was moving).

I think it is gubenatorial arrogance that Corzine has the emergency lights flashing to make an appointment w/ friggin’ Imus and the Rutgers basketball team.

I don’t think the governor should be able to use emergency lights and force traffic to make evasive manuevers when it isn’t an emergency ... he should experience the traffic jams that all of us experience and work to ease congestion for all the little people who go to work and pay taxes.
