I had sushi one evening with nice girl in New York, who I would descibe as very intelligent, aware, and slightly liberal. She was (what else) a real estate agent and she hung with a lot of the names here.

She said to me, "I used to party where Bill Clinton partied and I could tell you stories that would curl your hair."

Anyway, if her backers are able to pull it off -- and, if people here at FR subscribe to your prognostications, all the easier for them to pull it off -- nothing will be "won."

Clinton called for more assistance for cities with significant numbers of undocumented workers. "You've got to have more help for communities when you have a lot of undocumented workers because they have costs associated with that and they don't set immigration policy," Clinton said. She also said any immigration reform must be tougher on businesses that hire illegal immigrants. She said nothing will affect the issue until leaders of countries, such as Mexico, improve the economic lives for millions living in poverty.

Well, can you blame her? Get him away from her. Their "marriage" was never anything more than a political alliance.
